Rapper 40 Glocc Gets Plea Deal In Prostitution Sting Case

Lawrence White, best known as 40 Glocc, is a rapper from Colton, California. The rapper has reportedly taken a plea deal that removes two of his felony charges. If things work in his favor, he could only face a sentence of a few months and it out on bail until February, according to Hip Hop Wired.
TMZ reports: "According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, the rapper has agreed to plead guilty to 1 felony count of promoting prostitution of an individual. As part of the plea deal … prosecutors have agreed to drop 2 other felony charges — fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle and engaging in the sex trafficking of an individual. Under the terms of the deal … Glocc can argue for a jail sentence of between 4 and 12 months."

1. He’s had a few acting roles
According to his IMDB page, the rapper has also pursued a career in acting and has appeared in a total of four productions. The productions include: Miss March Posse (2009), Book of Love: The Definitive Reason Why Men Are Dogs (2002), Thicker Than Water (1999), and Who's Making Tha Rules (2005).
2. The Game owed him a ton of money
According to The Blast, in 2016, the rapper claimed he won a bet against Game for $196,335.15 but he never paid him. 40 then sued to get that money and claimed Game did some shady things to avoid paying him. The two have also exchanged insults on social media for years over regarding the incident.
3. He was shot while attending a funeral in June 2017
According to Mercury News, after the rapper was leaving a funeral for a homicide victim, he walked back to a car with a woman when “a vehicle pulled up near them and fired shots, striking him,” San Bernardino police Lt. Mike Madden said. Both sustained injuries and were stable after the incident. It is unclear if the shooting was gang-related.
4. He was placed under gang injunction in 2010
According to Mercury News, many have assumed 40 Glocc is affiliated with the Crips, but he has denied these claims. In 2010, 40 was placed under a gang injunction although he has insisted his songs and videos about gangs are just apart of his act.
5. He didn’t meet his mother until he was 8 years old
According to IMDB, “Glocc didn't know his mother until the age of 8 and was raised by his grandparents in Beaumont, along with 14 other children. His father was never around much either. During those eight years, 40 only knew his mother and a younger sister he had never met by the pictures his grandparents showed him.”
6. He hasn’t made a song since 2012
According to The Beat, the rapper's latest album is titled New World Agenda and it was released seven years ago. The album never charted but featured some prestigious artists at the time. The most popular song "Welcome to California" features E-40, Snoop Dogg, Too Short, Xzibit and Sevin. The official music video has almost 2 million views.
