The singing competition showcases disguised celebrities who dress in incredibly elaborate costumes and then take the stage to perform a song and people are left to guess who they are. It is then up to the four judges and audience members to guess the Masked Singer’s true identity.
Nick Cannon hosts alongside judges Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke. The panelists share their thoughts and opinions on who they believe the masked singers are based on the singer’s talent and the identifying clues left by the celebrity.
Our theories are blooming with who one of the contestants might be. Who is the Flower on The Masked Singer? We don’t know who will be revealed next, but fans are already making guesses.
1. Clues
Flower’s clue video starts with upbeat background music as she reveals her whimsical flower costume. She stays in character throughout the whole video making witty remarks to stay on theme with her character, but a few clues stood out.
One of the first things Flower said that stood out was, "I blossom in whatever field I plant myself in." Speculation would assume that this person may either be a very popular celebrity who thrives in their work or that there may be an innuendo clue hidden in this message.
The next notable clue was when Flower stood before a flowerbed wall of roses revealing the number “314” in blue roses. “314” could denote the St. Louis area code or could be of other significance; however, this number was left as a distinct clue for Flower’s identity.
2. Judge Guesses
The judges seemed pretty stumped on this one and couldn’t pinpoint who the Flower could be. The clues such as the “314” number left everyone speculating if Flower was hinting that she lives in St. Louis.
3. Other Guesses
The fans offered many probable theories for the Flower’s identity, but the unanimous theory seems to be Mayim Bialik from The Big Bang Theory. Fans of the CBS sitcom noted that Bialik’s character, Amy Farrah Fowler, lived apartment “314” on the show. How’s that for catching detail!
Other theories suggest the line, "I blossom in whatever field I plant myself in" was hinting at Bialik’s role in the NBC sitcom Blossom. This message could also hint at her success in her diverse roles as an actress and a doctor/scientist. The fans may be on to something!
4. Best Guess
There’s no denying the fact that the fans have created the best guess for Flower being Mayim Bialik. Fans were quick to note more than one of the matching attributes that Flower shared with Bialik’s roles in the sitcoms The Big Bang Theory and Blossom, which match the description from Flower’s clue video quite well.
5. Twitter Guesses
On Twitter, guesses for the Flower have ranged from softball player Jennie Finch to Kimora Lee Simmons to racecar driver Danica Patrick.
