Paris Hilton And KJ Apa Spark Dating Rumors After Flirting At House Party

getty Ah, celebrity dating rumors. You just gotta love them. With big names like Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid, Halsey and Yungblud, Lily Allen and David Harbour, and, of course, Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello, it’s always a great feeling when two talented people get together.
And the newest rumor swirling involves a socialite and a New Zealand actor. Are Paris Hilton and KJ Apa dating?
On August 10, Hilton hosted a party with a long list of celebrities in attendance. With big names like Ryan Phillippe and Bella Thorne, this party was a rager that continued into the early morning hours. And according to a source for Us Weekly, it seems Hilton and Apa were flirting big time. “People were having a lot of fun. Paris was super flirty with him,” revealed the source.
But are the two an item, or was it just harmless flirting? It appears to be the latter!
Hilton recently split from her ex-fiance, Chris Zylka, in November 2018 and called off the engagement after two years together. In the past, Hilton has dated Edward Furlong, Rick Salomon (with whom she filmed her infamous sex tape), Nick Carter, Stavros Nicharos, Benji Madden, Doug Reinhardt, Cy Watts, River Viiperi, and Thomas Gross. She’s also been engaged to Jason Shaw and Paris Latsis.
And in the wake of her breakup, Hilton has revealed that she’s completely fine with being single right now. “I’m so busy that I can’t even think of [dating]. It’s hard to really have a relationship when you’re traveling as much as I am,” she said. Back in January, however, she said she was “open to meeting new people.”
A source for Us Weekly claimed, “Paris has been out and about and when she is, she’ll take note of guys around her and tell her friends if she thinks a guy is cute or smart. She’ll chat with guys and is definitely open to meeting people, but it’s also easy for her to lose interest... [Paris is] so busy with work and focused on herself, but if right guy came along, she’d be open to it.”
Another insider revealed that Hilton was actually happy after her split from Zylka.
“Paris is actually so happy now. She has reaffirmed for herself that she will never settle... She wants a husband and kids, but it hasn’t happened and she’s committed to doing what’s right for her and just living... She’s not going to just be with someone so everyone else feels better. She’d rather be alone and happy. Paris really loved him and he adored her. [She] saw the best in him and then realized that they just weren’t a match, nor on the same level,” the source said.
Aside from Hilton wishing to remain single since her breakup is pretty fresh, there’s also another reason these dating rumors are just that: rumors. Apa is actually dating someone: his co-star, Britt Robertson. At least, that’s what speculation from fans and witnesses say.
On July 21, Apa and Robertson were spotted kissing at Comic-Con in San Diego! They were also seen “leaning in and kissing each other” and Apa was “hugging her.” Apa and Robertson met while filming A Dog’s Purpose and are starring together in the upcoming film, I Still Believe.
For now, it looks like Hilton was just talking to the guests at her party and being friendly. Take that, rumors!
