Amber Touchton Recently Revealed To Be Michael 'The Hollywood Ripper' Gargiulo's Secret Prison Lover
C'mon, girl. You can do better.
There's certainly an argument in favor of not judging a man for his past, but it MIGHT be a good idea to think twice before dating a man dubbed "The Hollywood Ripper." Someone, however, should have passed this memo to this woman, who was recently revealed to be the secret lover of this serial killer. Who is Amber Touchton?
Let's look at what we know about this, uh, rather interesting woman.
1. She was revealed to be the "secret lover" of the Hollywood Ripper.
According to Radar Online, Amber Touchton views The Hollywood Ripper as "her husband." She believes Gargiulo is "innocent" of all the charges against him and that he's nothing like he was depicted in the media. It's unclear how she met Gargiulo, but she's been in touch with him ever since he was convicted of murder.
2. Amber Touchton has made requests to marry Michael Gargiulo.
In different papers obtained by Radar Online, Amber Touchton even petitioned the Los Angeles County sheriff's office to obtain a marriage certificate for herself and Michael Gargiulo. The outlet reports that ultimately, the request wasn't granted because there were "too many complications" for the two of them to get married.
3. Michael Gargiulo was convicted of killing two women and trying to kill a third.
"Michael Gargiulo, the so-called “Hollywood Ripper,” has been found guilty of killing two women and attempting to murder another. A Los Angeles jury delivered their verdict on Thursday after deliberating for three days. Prosecutors described Gargiulo as a “serial, psychosexual, thrill killer” who stalked and then viciously stabbed his unsuspecting victims — all young women who lived near him. The jury will next decide if Gargiulo, who pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity, was sane or insane at the time of the attacks. If the jury rejects his plea of not guilty by reason of insanity the case will then move into the death penalty phase," reports People Magazine.
4. One of the women Michael Gargiulo killed was Ashton Kutcher's girlfriend at the time.
According to USA Today, Ashton Kutcher was dating Ashley Ellerin in 2001. Ashley, who was only 21 at the time of her murder, was actually discovered murdered in her house by Ashton Kutcher. Kutcher initially thought that the "red spots" he saw around Ashley was due to spilled wine. It turned out to be her blood. Kutcher testified at the Gargiulo trial, and was instrumental in helping the prosecution get a conviction.
5. Women who fall in love with serial killers are often diagnosed with mental illness.
"In responding to the question as to whether some men, such as “serial killers, violent offenders, and rapists," might be too dominant for women to accept, Ogas and Gaddam note: “It turns out that killing people is an effective way to elicit the attention of many women: virtually every serial killer, including Ted Bundy, Charles Manson, and David Berkowitz, have received love letters from large numbers of female fans," reports Psychology Today.
6. Was Michael Gargiulo responsible for the death of a Chicago-area woman?
According to Oxygen, before Michael Gargiulo took his life of crime to Los Angeles, he was responsible for the stabbing death of Tricia Pacaccio, a Chicago-area woman who was murdered in 1993.
It sounds like Amber Touchton could stand to pick a better man!
