Aaron Carter Alleges Ex Lina Valentina Hit Him In Face In New Domestic Abuse Police Report
He's been granted a restraining order against her.
Instagram Aaron Carter's ex-girlfriend Lina Valentina has been named as a suspect in a domestic violence report. On July 31 around 2am, a fight allegedly went down at Aaron's house. This was just a few days after the couple broke up. When police paid Carter a welfare check earlier this week, they asked him if he'd been having any problems with his ex. Aaron told them she slapped him in his face and he woke up the next day with a bruise where she hit him. The police made a report. Who is Lina Valentina?
1. She thinks he's in love with another woman
Aaron Carter reportedly told the police that he and Lina got into a heated argument. He said that he wanted to be left alone because Lina wouldn't stop accusing him of being in love with another woman. Aaron told E! News: "I was really hoping this would be the one that lasted forever. We had even talked about having kids, but we couldn't seem to get past our differences and the relationship eventually turned unhealthy."I don't have any regrets being with Lina, and I definitely learned a lot about myself. I think this decision was the mature thing to do."
2. She's a Russian artist
Lina Valentina was born in St. Petersburg, Russia in 1990. When she was 14, her family moved to Spain, A year later, she moved to the United States. She is a contemporary artist living in Los Angeles. According to the bio on her website: "Lina's art varies from contemporary art to surrealism, she becomes inspired by the lyrics and emotions found in various styles of music, Dali's work has been known to spark her creativity. The young entrepreneur speaks three languages and has attended SCSU, Paier College of art and FIT. Her art career has started and took off in NYC where she has lived before moving to LA. Her favorite art media is acrylics, in addition to painting on canvases, Lina has also painted murals that could be found in NYC, Brooklyn and LA."
3. They've been dating since 2018
Carter and Valentina have been dating since sometime in 2018. They went public with their relationship in Instagram in September. Carter posted a photo of the couple and captioned it: “I finally found my love of my life no one has understood me and shown the love this woman has for me EVER @lina_valentina you have my heart for the rest of my life.” Prior to Valentina, Carter dated Madison Parker. They split in 2017 and Carter revealed he's bisexual. In 2017, Carter also spent two months in rehab after being arrested for a DUI and possession of marijuana as well as battling an eating disorder.
4. She may have been pregnant with his baby at one point
Last November, the couple announced on social media that Lina Valentina was pregnant. In December, he said that they weren't expecting a baby after all.
5. What's going on with Aaron?
Last week, someone in Aaron's life called the police and said they were worried that he was suicidal. They also said they were worried Carter was back on drugs. According to TMZ, it was Valentina that called the authorities for a welfare check. Carter assured the authorities he was fine but did mention that Lina had both hit and threatened him when they broke up and he asked her to move out of his home.
6. He got a temporary restraining order against her
Documents were filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court indicating that Aaron Carter was granted a partial restraining order against Valentina on Monday, August 12. Carter alleged that his ex "physically assaulted" him on several occasions. In the filing, he said: "She has threatened to stab me several times and she carries a knife with her." The partial restraining order requires that Valentina stays 100 yards away from Carter. There is a court date scheduled to make the restraining order more permanent, but Aaron's attorney said that he is not pursuing the full restraining order at the time.
