Meet Duane 'Dog' Chapman's New ... Girlfriend?
He promised Beth he'd never get married again.
In 2004, fans of reality television were introduced to the Chapman family and subsequently, Duane “Dog” Chapman, AKA Dog the Bounty Hunter. The series followed the family as they tracked down and captured criminals.
In 2013, CMT aired a spin-off series, Dog and Beth: On the Hunt, and in 2017, A&E aired a 2-hour special, Dog and Beth: Fight of Their Lives, that detailed Beth Chapman’s fight with stage 4 throat cancer.
On June 26, 2019, Beth passed away at the age of 51 after being placed in a medically-induced coma just one week before. Beth, Duane’s fourth wife, wed her husband in 2006. And needless to say, there’s no doubt he’s been wrought with grief since her passing.
But has he already moved on? Just six weeks after Beth’s passing, he was spotted out with a mystery woman! Just who is Duane “Dog” Chapman’s new girlfriend?

The two were seen having dinner in LA, dressed up for a meal at an Italian restaurant. He obviously sported his blonde mullet and big sunglasses, his trademark look. His date wore a tight halter mini-dress, and Duane’s bodyguard eventually drove them to a convenience store, and then headed back to his hotel.
While many believe he was on a date with this mystery woman, according to a source for People, she’s just a long-time friend of the family. The source also revealed that crew members from his upcoming show, Dog’s Most Wanted, were in attendance as well.
On the morning of his beloved wife’s passing, Dog tweeted out a heartfelt message to his fans, informing them of death:
And though he didn’t scatter Beth’s ashes as she requested, he revealed to Entertainment Tonight that he sleeps with a box of her ashes next to him in bed:
“Well, she said scatter some, leave some on the fireplace, of course when I go to heaven, she wants me in the box with her. You know, I was going to do all the scattering, and then I looked at it and thought, ‘I’m not gonna throw you, like, away. I’m just gonna throw you away and start over?’ I can’t do that.
I haven’t gotten past the place where I’m still putting a pillow where she was, and covering it up, like the jailhouse escape, right? I mean it. And then I wake up in the middle of the night and I see her and it doesn’t register that ain’t her. I’m still there. I leave it next to the bed right there and I think that might be where it’s going to be forever.”
Instead, the Chapman family honored Beth with a memorial service in Aurora, Colorado, as well as a gathering at Fort DeRussy Beach in Waikiki, Hawaii. Dog told the crowd, “She said please Hawaiian style...please do this right. She loved Hawaii and she loved people. The people mostly she loved.”
Chapman's new series, Dog's Most Wanted premieres on WGN on September 4th. The series features Beth prominently and a source told Hollywood Life that Dog is looking forward to seeing her smile again and reliving the precious times they had.
Duane Chapman may meet a lady and fall in love and date her, but he will not be getting married again. He made a promise to Beth before she died. Chapman told Hollywood Life: “Well, I am a man and I will have a girlfriend probably — but I will never get remarried. I promised Beth I would never get remarried. I told her the same thing; if I were to pass away I told her, ‘You better not f**king get married! I don’t care what you do and how many boyfriends you got, but please don’t ever stand next to someone and say the vows.’ So, we both made a deal like that.”
