'Boy Meets World' Actress Maitland Ward Finds New Career In Porn
What would Mr. Feeney think?!
We all have TV shows from our younger days that will always hold a soft spot in our hearts. Sometimes the shows in question are good, sometimes they are less than great, but that doesn't really matter. What does matter is the feelings the show elicits when we see it, and the fond memories it inspires. For many people, Boy Meets World is one of these shows. People cared about this show so much that they are still desperate for information about its former stars years after the fact. Who is Maitland Ward? She's one of the show's season six stars, and what she's doing now is so far from the wholesome qualities of Boy Meets World that we can feel Mr. Feeney blushing from here.
1. Her Role On The Show
Fans of TGIF probably don't have to dig very deep into the ol' memory banks to dredge up recollections of Maitland Ward. She joined the cast of Boy Meets World at the beginning of the sixth season, playing the role of Rachel McGuire. Rachel's character was the hot girl roommate to both Eric Matthews and Jack Hunter. There are some initial love triangle antics that play out, but ultimately at the end of the day the group realizes that they are all much better off just being friends. While Maitland wasn't on the show from the very beginning, she definitely made an impact nonetheless, and that's why people are still so fascinated with what she's up to now that the show is long-since off the air.
2. Her Cosplay Career
Maitland, who was born Ashley Maitland Ward, changed her name early on in her career when an agent told her that the name "Ashley" was too common for an actress in Hollywood, so she opted to adopt her middle name. Ashley Judd, I'm sorry you had to hear it from me, but apparently, your name makes you a dime a dozen. Don't blame me, blame Maitland's agent! After appearing in movies and TV shows prior to Boy Meets World, Maitland thought she hit it big with the role of Rachel, but when the show ended, her career switched directions. Maitland dedicated her post-show life to pursuing another passion of hers, appearing at conventions as a serious cosplayer.
3. More Adult Entertainment
But Maitland didn't plan on just relegating her life to putting together elaborate costumes, in the process of going deeper into the world of cosplaying, she discovered just how much she loved her sexier looks, and how the internet seemed to agree. By the year 2013 Maitland started building an entirely new type of following, one that wasn't made up of nostalgic 90s kids who loved the show that made her a household name. Instead, she started sharing nude or nearly nude photos of herself on various social media platforms, and when she realized how big of fanbase those images had, she signed finally signed with an adult talent agency in 2019.
4. Her Personal Life
While her career and her professional life might have taken more than one twist and turn throughout the years, part of the way that Maitland survives all of the drama is by having profound happiness in her personal life. In 2006 she married a man named John T. Baxter and the couple has been happily enjoying life together ever since. While John doesn't often appear in the photos that Maitland shares with her fans, when he does it's clear not only that she is totally smitten with the guy, but that he couldn't be more proud of his stunning bride no matter what she's doing, even if that means chasing her new porn star dreams.
5. Her Online Influence
As her photos grew in popularity, Maitland started a Patreon account where she shared more intimate photos with paying admirers. Announcing the new venture, she said: “I am so excited to finally share with you an intimate one-of-a-kind fan experience,” Maitland wrote on her page. “You have been the most fierce and dedicated group of Maitland Wardiors I could ever ask for. It’s definitely time I dedicated a space where I can connect with all of you as a fun community. This page is for all the super fans and supporters who want more exclusive, uninhibited content, and who want to support my work, photos and fun.”
6. Officially A Pornstar
In addition to her Patreon, Maitland has started working with other companies to expand her offerings as an adult entertainer. She released her first 30-minute project for a website called Blacked.com which specializes in “exclusive interracial HD erotic porn videos.” But that's not all that Maitland has planned with the people at the sexy website. She also announced on August 2 that the site is running a contest and the winning prize is a personalized video from the woman herself. It's clear that this is one woman with some serious hustle who isn't afraid of her relationship with sex.
7. She's the new face of Deeper.com
InTouch reports that Ward recently signed a deal with Vixen Media Group, which owns Deeper.com — a site that produces adult content. “I will be the star of their features for Deeper, and they also do featurettes, like series — they will have different shorter kind of series things,” Ward said exclusively to the site. “First of all, the scripts are going to be very detailed. We are working on producing high quality material, but if you do it mainstream, like taking out the sex acts by having just the story and the plot, you can release it to things like festivals and any mainstream kind of stuff.”
