Why 'Bachelorette' Hannah Brown's Mom Susanne Isn't Helping Daughter With Final Decision
Does mother know best?
Hannah Brown is ready to hand out the final rose this week on the two part Bachelorette finale. The Alabama girl will be selecting her one true love from among the final three guys, Peter Weber, Jed Wyatt and Tyler Cameron. And she’s asking for advice from her mom before she makes the big decision.
While this will be the end of the Bachelorette road for two of the three final men, it’s the beginning of time in the spotlight for Hannah’s mom. Hannah never got to a hometown date on her season of the Bachelor so this week the audience will be meeting her parents for the first time. They’ll get to be privy to a mother-daughter heart-to-heart as Hannah turns to her mom Susanna for advice on making her final choice.
Who is Hannah’s mom and what does she say about picking a fiancé? Read on for all the details. (This post contains spoilers so read at your own risk!) Who is Susanne Brown?
1. Social media sneak peak
Audiences got their first taste of Hannah’s mom on social media and that taste was a touch salty, according to People. Last week, jilted contestant Luke showed up for the rose ceremony despite having already been sent home. When Hannah asked him what he was doing back on set, he told her “This isn’t over for me yet. This is my heart we’re talking about here.” Hannah snapped back “This is not about your heart! F—! Leave!” Peter, Tyler and Jed all stepped up to help get Luke out of the picture, literally.
Hannah’s mom took offense to Luke crashing the show and posted a photo of him to her Instagram account. She said: “In the bag!!! You would not have made it pass me you are a A–!!” Hannah commented on her mom’s post, saying “Mother. Delete. And never use social media again. I love you though (and you’re right).”
The post was deleted but not before the account Comments by Celebs captured and reposted it.
Hannah's mom had no love for Luke.
2. Bachelor 1: Peter
The first of the three men Hannah will be choosing from this week is Peter Weber, according to Entertainment Tonight. The boyish airline pilot seemed like a total catch — a dog lover who was close to his family and loves to travel. He's said that he can see a future with Hannah, saying: “I've never felt this intensely for someone. I 100 percent can see this woman as my wife. Like, 100 percent.” But things got complicated when news broke that he may have dumped his prior girlfriend to be on the show. Whether or not Hannah chooses him, chances are good that host Chris Harrison will have some hard questions for him in the Men Tell All, according a spoiler post from Women's Health.

3. Bachelor 2: Tyler
Floridian Tyler made the most of his enviable abs by taking a lot of opportunities to lose the shirt. He and Hannah definitely seemed to have chemistry but she took her time with him to pursue the non-physical connections. That approach worked because Tyler says: “You have to have that one in a million connection with someone to really make things work, and I do believe that we have that.” And fans found out on Monday night that it was Tyler that Hannah had sex in a windmill with —four times. Damn girl!
Sexy pics were his claim to fame.
4. Bachelor 3: Jed
Jed is a fellow southerner with a story of heartbreak. He says his last relationship tore him apart and made it hard for him to keep writing music. For his part, Jed says: "Hannah is the person I've always wanted to meet. She just feels like a missing piece to my life.” But now there are rumors about that relationship — like Peter, Jed’s ex has popped up to say he dumped her for the show, according to Women's Health.
Did Jed have a girlfriend before the show?
5. Parents join the show
One of the three men will be sent home before Hannah introduces the remaining guys to her parents. Her folks, who are divorced from one another, will join their daughter in Greece for the final days of filming. In clips, the two of them appear to have some serious questions for Hannah's last two suitors, asking them about how well they get along and whether or not the Fantasy Suite dates were distracting from more serious relationship matters.
Hannah is delighted to see her parents.
6. Mother knows best
Hannah takes the opportunity of having her mom around to get some private time to ask her advice. E! News posted a clip where mom Susanna says: "I think you thought you were going to be at one place, and you're confused. I'm confused for you. So, I'm going to ask you some questions that you're not going to like today.” Hannah welcomes her mother’s input and listens to what she has to say. After both women break down in tears over the difficulty of the situation, Susanne says: “I want somebody that will take...that will love you like I know you should be loved.”
Susanna will support Hannah no matter what.
7. Who will get the final rose? (Spoilers)
Jed was the one to get the final rose and he even proposed right there on camera. But Reality Steve has the information that the engagement didn’t last long. Once Hannah found out about the allegations that Jed left another woman in search of reality fame, she wanted out of the relationship and broke things off.
Will this be the end of Hannah’s dreams of love in the Bachelor Nation? Stay tuned to see.
