getty While we love Hollywood romances, we also know they don’t last very long. That’s why, when celebrity couples are together for years, we have hope their love will stand the test of time. Unfortunately, and realistically, it seldom happens. (Seriously, if Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. ever break up, love is dead.)
Part of celebrity breakups is their eventual spark with someone else. In the case of Andrew Garfield, he’s long since moved on from his split with Emma Stone. The exes dated from 2011 until their split in 2015, though they remain friends.
In an interview withVanity Fair, he revealed, “We care about each other so much and that’s a given, that’s kind of this unconditional thing. There’s so much love between us and so much respect. I’m her biggest fan as an artist.”
Stone has been dating Dave McCary, who works for Saturday Night Live, since 2017, and Garfield has dated around as well. But it seems there’s a new lady in his life! So, just who is Christine Gabel?
On July 10th, Garfield and Gabel were spotted together in Los Angeles, laughing and walking with their arms around one another.
According to a source for Radar Online, the two have “only been dating for a couple of weeks... It looks like it could turn serious pretty fast. Andrew and Christine seem really into each other. I’ve seen them together and you can just tell they had a strong connection right off the bat.”
While Garfield is an actor famous for his roles Never Let Me Go, The Social Network, and The Amazing Spider-Man, Gabel isn’t in the same business.
While we don’t know too much about her personal life other than the fact that a mutual friend apparently introduced them, she graduated from the University of Southern California and is currently working on getting her medical degree. She’s also a model, and with brains and beauty like this, Garfield has hit the jackpot.
Before allegedly dating Gabel, Garfield was rumored to be dating Rita Ora, after the two were seen getting close in London back in December. However, Ora shot down the rumors. He was also linked to actress Susie Abromeit, known for her roles in Jessica Jones and Chicago Med. The couple dated throughout 2018 but split at the end of the year.
There’s no telling how long any celebrity relationship will last, but it seems like Garfield and Gabel are happy together. And in the end, that’s all that really matters.
