1. Fans initially thought she was on her way to recovery.

According to Country Living, Beth Chapman was in remission from her throat cancer for a long time. She even shared a rare photo of herself with her dearly beloved husband, which prompted fans to remark how “amazing” she looked.

“Hundreds of people responded to the photo with words of support and encouragement for Beth, who was recently diagnosed with throat cancer for the second time. The majority of fans remarked how beautiful she is without makeup on, even as she's fighting to stay healthy,” reports the outlet.

2. Beth Chapman had a death scare before.

According to Hollywood Life, back when Beth Chapman was diagnosed with throat cancer for the first time, she’d posted a cryptic message on social media that suggested she wasn’t afraid of dying.

“Days after her inspiring speech about how being diagnosed with throat cancer tested her Christian faith, Beth Chapman seemingly opened up about her health struggles again. The Dog & Beth On The Hunt star, 51, posted a cryptic message on Instagram on May 20, and it has fans concerned. Beth posted an image that read, “Watching someone you love die is an image you never forget.” It’s unclear if Beth was referring to herself, or someone else, as she provided no context or caption,” reported the outlet.

3. According to Duane “Dog” Chapman, her prognosis is “serious.”

According to WFTL, Duane “Dog” Chapman has confirmed Beth’s prognosis is serious, and all he wants is well wishes for his beloved wife.

“The Chapman family said they "humbly ask everyone to please pray for Beth" and sent their "sincere thanks to everyone for their prayers throughout Beth’s battle with cancer,” reported the outlet, referring to a statement that the Chapman family released on Beth’s behalf.

Incidentally, in the promo for Dog’s new show, Dog’s Most Wanted, he makes reference to Beth’s serious diagnosis.

“My wife, the love of my life, is fighting for her life, and instead of being at home helping her, I'm out here looking for you," Dog Chapman is seen saying in a promo for the WGN America show. "So I'm warning you in advance: May God have mercy on you when I catch you. Because I won't,” reports the outlet.

Duane Chapman has asked for prayers for his lovely wife, Beth. 

4. Beth Chapman is the love of Duane Chapman’s life.

According to Pop Culture, Duane and Beth are clearly the loves of each other’s lives. Even though Dog had been married four times prior to finally settling down with Beth, they’d remained in each other’s lives from the day they’d met.
