According to an interview with This Morning, a friend of Sarah's told her about Mason and that he had been a child actor. Sarah looked him up and found him to be interesting. She friended him on Facebook and they began chatting. Mason went to a convention Sarah was at and they talked for hours. Sarah blew off the man she was with to hang out with Mason. The former child actor thought it was just innocent, playful flirting. He said: "I didn't really think that this really beautiful, young adult model would find anything even remotely fascinating about a 54-year-old man.
2. He made a promise to her
On the night they met, Mason promised Sarah that he would call her every day while he was in Los Angeles. He was set to be in LA for the following month. He followed through on that promise and the two have been basically living together in his apartment in New York ever since.

Mason and Sarah recently appeared on the spin off of Extreme Love called Love Don't Judge. On the show, they gave the audience a glimpse into their relationship. Sarah is 28 years younger than Mason. Mason is a formerly well-known child actor from the 1970s and 1980s. In the video clip below, he's singing a song on top of a giant cootie toy in the 1975 Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. Mason worked steadily between 1969 and 1984 and became a pop icon of that time. He appeared in more than 75 commercials for Dunkin' Donuts, Raisin Bran, Underwood Deviled Ham and many others.
