5 Zodiac Signs Who Are Prone To Exaggeration
They go beyond the truth.
Are you prone to exaggerate? Exaggeration can be a helpful tool if you want to make a story funnier or more interesting, but the problem comes when you’ve expanded so much, and have lost whatever truth there was.
There are some zodiac signs who exaggerate more than others. By distorting the truth to such a large extent, it makes things funnier, and we laugh at someone that’s so outlandish. And as astrology has proven time and time again, it depends highly on your personality traits and characteristics.
Some people believe in their exaggerations more than what actually occurred. When they continue to push the boundaries, they get further from wanting to be honest. They have no faith that a simple story has as much value than something that has been fabricated and magnified.
People exaggerate as a way to make themselves look better, so it's really just bragging. But when someone inflates the truth to try and convince someone to do or believe something, that’s dangerous. People in politics often use exaggeration as a way to further their own agenda.
If you’re constantly exaggerating, it can mean you’re not comfortable being who you are and don’t believe what you have to say is enough. The funny thing is that most of the time, it’s the truth that resonates with people, because it’s more relatable. Trust that you are enough without having to exaggerate it.
1. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarians do a lot of cool things, but there are times when they don't trust that what they did was exciting enough. So, over time, the story of their adventure or trip becomes embellished. They didn't just see that cliff; they dove off of it.
If someone questions the validity of their story, Sagittarius tend to be vague and not have any hard evidence as backup. However, it's good to know that this zodiac sign isn't lying on purpose, as they fully believe what they're saying.
2. LEO (July 23 - August 22)
There are many great personality traits to Leo: they have strong leadership qualities, they're captivating, loyal, optimistic, and strong. And Leos themselves know how amazing they are, so sometimes they can be egoistic.
When Leo is feeling especially full of themselves, they get braggy; however, those aren't humblebrags, they're over-the-top exaggerated brags about how great they are. We know you're incredible, and you don't have to prove it to us. Clearly, underneath all that Leo bravado is some insecurity, and that's why they feel the need to exaggerate.
3. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
Aries love taking risks and want everyone to know how brave and adventurous they are. So, if they exaggerate a little about how difficult something was to achieve or how dangerous it was, that's just part of the fun.
Aries likes to think they can do things other people would be too scared to even try. No one is braver than an Aries, and for them, it's not boosting if it's mostly true. If they're amplifying the difficulty level of something, they're not doing it to intentionally lie, they're probably just getting caught up in the moment.
4. CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Capricorns can sometimes feel like they're being underestimated and overlooked, so if they need to exaggerate the things they accomplished — especially on their own with limited resources — that's what they're going to do.
If someone calls them out on it, Capricorn will get defensive and their body language will reveal they're inflating their portion of success. They don't mispresent; they embellish their achievements.
5. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Taurus can be super stubborn, and they always want things to go their way, so if they have to exaggerate to make that happen, they'll do it. If Taurus is called out on their exaggeration, they will still hold their ground.
They will stand behind their words, even if they've been magnified to make a point or end an argument. Taurus may overemphasize one thing so another is overlooked, and they will do what they must to win... except back down.
