The hit TLC show 90 Day Fiancé has gifted viewers with unending drama from some of the couples over the years —who can forget Anifsa screaming for Jorge to bring her "my red bag with my makeup." But a few couples have been genuine love matches who only had to overcome geography to get to happily ever after. That’s good news for the state of their marriages but the lack of drama means they don’t get follow up series offers. One such couple is Alan and Kirlyam. The American man met his Brazilian wife while he was serving a Mormon mission a number of years ago. They got reacquainted when he traveled back to her country for a friend’s wedding and hit it off romantically. She agreed to move to the US to start their life together and TLC captured the process in the first season of the show.

Since then, they have appeared on a few follow ups to share what's going on with them with fans — like when they had their baby. But where are Alan and Kirlyam now? Read on for all the details. Are Alan and Kirlyam still together?

1. Early meeting

The couple’s backstory raised a few eyebrows when they revealed that they first met when Alan was 20-years-old and serving his Mormon mission trip in Brazil. The Heavy reports that he became friendly with Krilyam’s family, who were members of the Mormon church. It is not unusual for church members to strike up friendships with visiting missionaries and invite them over for meals and other family activities. At the time Kirlyam was only 11-years-old. The couple is adamant that there was nothing between them when they first met. The Heavy reports that they made a video about it on YouTube and Kirlyam said: “Please, if you want to know the truth — that’s the truth. We didn’t have anything when we first met, and for like six years after we met. So don’t believe everything you read on the Internet. If you want to know the truth, ask us.”

Alan traveled back to Brazil years later to attend a wedding and got in touch with other friends while he was there. That was when he and Kirlyam, now both adults, connected and started their relationship.

2. TLC

Kirlyam moved to the US on a K1 fiancé visa and the couple appeared on the first season of 90 Day Fiancé. The season covered her attempts at modeling, which made Alan jealous. They ended the season with a wedding at the Mormon temple, though Kirlyam's parents weren't able to attend. They did manage to set up a live streaming of the wedding for them. After a honeymoon in Hawaii, they settled down and prepared to live happily ever after.

3. Baby news

Starcasm reports that the couple announced that they were expecting their first child together in 2017. Kirlyam shared the news of the pregnancy and details about the experience in her blog saying: “These last 5 months have been the most incredible of my life! The first ultrasound, the first kick, the first outfit, my body and my mind changing…Everything is different, and I could not be happier. Lovingly named Parasitazinho (lol) Liam is the miracle that made our happiness even greater. I’m learning so much and there’s still more to learn, I know. And I’m grateful for each of those details that have been going on. I can not wait to get him in my arms and see his little face! God has given us this miracle, and all I do is thank Him for entrusting us both to one of his children.” The pair was featured on an episode of TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé: What Now? to catch up with them during Kirlyam’s pregnancy.

5. Relocating

After leaving his job in California, the couple and their baby moved in with Alan’s parents in Utah while they planned their next steps.
