Gabrielle Crahan, Slipknot's Shawn Crahan's daughter, passed away at age 22 on Saturday, May 18. The cause of death has not yet been revealed, Crahan announced her death on Twitter on Sunday after performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Funeral arrangements are in the process, and her family is asking for their privacy to be respected as they move forward and deal with their loved one's death.
2. Five Months Sober
A couple of days before Gabrielle's death, she posted a photo of an Alcoholics Anonymous sobriety coin on Instagram. It was a highlight that she was excited to share on her IG profile of her accomplishment of being sober for five months. Fans of Crahan praised and encouraged her as she shared such an intimate moment with the world.

Internet trolls have posted content such as asking if she passed away from natural causes or drug abuse and then continued the debate in the comments. Alexandria, Gabrielle's sister, was outraged and requested that the negative comments about her sister be put to bed: “STOP SPECULATING,” she wrote. “STOP WITH THE ASSUMPTIONS.”
