Instagram 90 Day Fiance on TLC is an extremely popular show...and with good reason! For the most part, the series follows couples who live in different countries who have 90 days to decide whether or not they are going to pull the trigger on their marriage to the international partner, or if they are going to part ways. It features some incredible love stories, bizarre connections, and potential scams, all of which make it as compelling as a car crash: you cannot look away.
One of the most compelling couples on the show thus far has been Azan Tefou M’Raouni and Nicole Nafziger. She's from Florida and he was born and raised in Morocco. They have a lot of things that make them seem totally at odds and unlikely to go the distance, but somehow these two keep on making it work. Now it's time to get to know more about Azan Tefou and what his relationship with Nicole is all about! Who is Azan M'Raouni?
1. They've Had A Rough Road
When Azan Tefou M’Raouni and Nicole Nafziger first met courtesy of a still-to-be-named international dating app they had no idea that their relationship was going to be put under a serious microscope. Of course presumably, when they first met on said dating app, neither of them had any idea that the sometimes rocky road of their courtship would be chronicled by the TLC show 90 Day Fiance, either! As soon as Azan and Nicole appeared on the show, fans couldn't get enough of the adorable couple, but not everyone watching them was rooting for them. Some of the people who were obsessed with watching each and every move Azan and Nicole made were much more interested in seeing how their rocky love affair would pan out. They've certainly had their moments, too, what with calling off their engagement, and now living with an ocean between them.

2. Setting The Record Straight
Though the couple claims they are happy and planning on tying the knot this year (rumor has it that their nuptials are set to take place in Azan's home of Morroco at some point this summer). They are in a very different place from where they were last summer when Nicole's stepfather was quick to confirm that she returned home to Florida once her visa expired and that the wedding was being totally called off. But now, the wedding is very much back on, and what's more, it looks like Nicole is sick and tired of people speculating about her relationship, and Azan seems to be on the same page. To that end, Nicole took to Instagram to answer questions about the duo's relationship. When asked why they weren't married yet, she answered simply: “Too much pressure not enough time or money. You can’t rush this kind of stuff. Do it in the right moment and it wasn’t the right moment yet.” Pretty hard to argue with that!
3. Is He The One?
Even though the couple has had their difficulties and disagreements in the past, Nicole and Azan seem committed to the idea of making this relationship, and hopefully marriage, work out in the long run. Nicole is so confident that Azan is the one that she was able to gush all about the guy when a fan asked her how she knew for sure. “Azan is a loving and caring man. He’s a kind-hearted person who is very family oriented. I love everything about him," she added. But does Azan feel the same way? It's a powerful question and not necessarily an easy one to ask, especially, you know, when none of us actually know either Nicole or Azan in real life or IRL, as the kids would say. 4. How They Keep The Spark Alive
Right now, Azan is still living in Morocco and Nicole is still living with her family back in Florida. The plan, of course, is for one day the two of them to be reunited and living in the same place. In fact, Nicole's wedding to Azan is planned to take place in his native home of Morocco, but that's not happening for a little while yet. So how do Azan and Nicole stay in touch with each other? How do they keep building that communication and intimacy that is essential for any relationship that hopes to stand the very test of time? Well, that's easy, at least, according to Nicole. “We text everyday. Call at least once a day. Try to video chat a couple times a week,” she revealed to a fan on Instagram.
5. Is He Attracted To Her?
Here's where we have to address Azan's most talked about moment on the entire series. Nicole is a curvy girl, and while she's recently made a decision to change her diet and her lifestyle, there are concerns that she isn't doing it for herself: she's doing it so that the man she's talked about children with, the man she's talked about spending her life with doesn't always make her feel good about her body. When the couple was at a session with a therapist, Azan astonished fans at home when he was asked if he was "100%" attracted to his fiance, Nicole. Without missing a beat, Azan said that he was "55% attracted" to Nicole. When asked about that on Instagram, Nicole had a surprising take. “Azan isn’t 55% attracted to me,” she said. “He’s fully attracted to me. Sometimes you just need to add drama in places there isn’t”. Cool cool cool. So I guess...that's fine? I'm just saying, if my fiance said that to me, he'd be 55% murdered.
