Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin were indicted back in March on charges concerning a nationwide college admissions cheating scam. According to InTouch Weekly, arrest warrants were issued for the pair for “conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud.” Documents obtained by the site said that Loughlin and her husband allegedly “agreed to pay bribes totaling $500,000 in exchange for having their two daughters designated as recruits to the USC crew team — despite the fact that they did not participate in crew — thereby facilitating their admission to USC.”

The documents went on to say that Huffman and her husband allegedly “made a purported charitable contribution of $15,000 to KWF to participate in the college entrance exam cheating scheme on behalf of her oldest daughter,” 18-year-old Sofia. The documents also claim that “Huffman later made arrangements to pursue the scheme a second time, for her youngest daughter,” 16-year-old Georgia, but then she allegedly decided “not to do so.”

“I am ashamed of the pain I have caused my daughter, my family, my friends, my colleagues and the educational community. I want to apologize to them and, especially. I want to apologize to the students who work hard every day to get into college, and to their parents who make tremendous sacrifices to support their children and do so honestly.”
