Who Is Chantel Everett? 90 Day Fiancé Star Gets Her Own Show
Spinoff coming soon.
Chantel Everett is a 26-year old from Atlanta, Georgia who is known for her appearance on the tv show 90 Day Fiancé. The American Documentary series made its debut on TLC in January 2014. The show is now getting ready to enter its fourth season which will premiere on April 28.
The show “follows couples who have applied for or received a K-1 visa (available uniquely to foreign fiancés of American citizens) and therefore have 90 days to decide to marry before the visas of the foreign half of the couple expire and they must leave the United States.”
The season titled Happily Ever After will revisit the most memorable couples from the previous seasons, which includes Everett and her partner Pedro Jimeno. Though the 90-day countdown to the altar has passed there is much more drama to come. Returning couples will take the audience on a journey as they “battle critics, doubters, and obstacles along their road to love.” The goal will be to see if the couples are actually happy in their relationships.
Here’s everything you need to know about Chantel Everett and how she and her partner will soon have their very own tv show.
Get the inside scoop on the new show The Family Chantel.
1. Everett met Pedro Jimeno in the D.R.
Everett first met Pedro Jimeno while on a trip to the Dominican Republic, where they were introduced by a Spanish teacher. After that Everett frequently took trips to the Dominican Republic to visit him. One of those trips became very special when Jimeno decided to propose to her. What should’ve been the happiest moments for Everett was actually a scary one.
Chantel was worried that her family would think that Jimeno was only proposing to her so that he could get a green card to enter the U.S. So, to ease the news over she told her family that he was in America on a student travel visa.

2. We don't know much else about her personal life
Information about Everett's personal life is almost nonexistent.
In an attempt to keep viewers suspenseful, the cast has barely any news about their lives on social media, a common place for people to go to receive information in this day and age. Similar to other tv shows, stars on 90 Day Fiancé are not allowed to update their social media profiles until after their contract with the network is finished. It takes away the likeliness that their social media pages will reveal spoilers about upcoming episodes.
But fans of the star have tried to dig up as much as possible about Everett.
For starters, some people believe that her real name is CeAir C. Wylie-Everett. Everett's Facebook page indicates that she may also be religious, Christian or Catholic.
This is assumed because of her cover photo that recites the words of a popular Christian song which reads “Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders, let me walk upon the waters, wherever You would call me. Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander, and my faith would be made stronger, in the presence of my Savior.”

3. Her family doesn't mix well with Jimeno's family
Throughout the tv show, Everett and Jimeno can be seen in the Dominican Republic. During these moments their families have some explosive fights and arguments. These arguments stem from the fact that Everett and Jimeno lied about the reason he was in the U.S.
Money was another reason they argued. Chantel's family was upset because Pedro’s family’s standard of living massively improved while Everett and Jimeno continued to live a modest lifestyle in the U.S. Then at one-point Jimeno’s family offered Everett’s family chicken feet which they took as a sign of disrespect.
Things only got more heated from there.
According to InTouch Weekly, River was only trying to defend his parents after Jimeno told them to shut up. The situation quickly escalated.
"I’m actually mad," River continued. "I don’t regret it, but I’m mad at myself because nobody should get me out of my character," he said.

4. Everett and Jimeno are known for having an on-and-off relationship
As if having a family who doesn't get along wasn't bad enough, Everett and Jimeno also have a rocky relationship with each other.
Dating back to September 2018, there were rumors of the couple splitting up. This came after Everett posted a message on her Instagram Story. The quote on her story read “Sometimes the hardest part of being a great catch is accepting not everyone’s hands are strong enough to hold you.”
Even in a previous photo she posted in August, Everett wasn’t wearing her ring. This was also cause for speculation about the couple splitting.
Though we know that the two were married, there have been no pictures of the pair together outside of their promo with TLC. Even in those photos, the couple is not seen smiling.
In the season four Happily Ever After clip TLC tease, Chantel said that she was on her final straw. “Pedro has lost my trust,” she said as the camera shows Pedro dancing with another woman.
5. Everett will soon have her own tv show
It was recently announced that Everett and Jimeno will have their own reality tv show focused solely on them. The spinoff called “The Family Chantel” will showcase the continuous feud between their two families.
Network president and general manager, Howard Lee is excited for the new show according to InTouch Weekly.
“This is an awesome moment for TLC, as we create a family show based on one of our most popular 90 Day couples, and on a whole new night,” he said.
