But, when you’re together, there’s undeniable passion. You can’t understand how someone who’s so great with words and actions could be so awful at texting.
Even if he answers your text messages, it’s not the same guy you’re used to. He abbreviates everything or refuses to use any punctuation at all. His familiar personality doesn’t come across over text, and it probably doesn’t help the fact that that’s how most people communicate nowadays. He’s just… different.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)
Unlike the reliable man you’re used to being with in person, your Taurus man is unpredictable in texts. Maybe he’ll respond immediately if he has his phone on hand, or maybe you’ll have to wait a whole week to hear back from him by text. Whatever the case, you know it’s not like your Taurus to leave you waiting.
GEMINI (May 21-June 20)
He always responds. No matter what he’s doing. Though, that doesn’t mean you get the most thoughtful responses. Instead, your Gemini man might send a quick “one sec” message or a “brb” just to let you know that he’s seen and read your text. Communication is their specialty, but, over text, you might not always get the expressive Gemini you’re used to.
CANCER (June 21-July 22)
He’ll likely send you sappy quotes and photos he’s found online that remind him of you. While you might want him to use his own words to describe his feelings about you, he often relies on art for his sentimentality via text and needs constant reassurance from you that you love him. This differs greatly from his sentimental nature in person.
LEO (July 23-August 22)
Your Leo man is busy and knows that you are, too, so texting isn’t a priority. He enjoys getting attention over text but doesn’t really care who it’s from. Therefore, his texts are random and brief. When you’re with him in person, though, you feel his warm-hearted side come out and want to be around him as long as possible.
VIRGO (August 23-September 22)
He is especially awkward over text. He doesn’t know how to respond to texts, and he certainly doesn’t know how to initiate texting. He’ll reveal way too much information when you ask him about his day or miss written social cues that mean you want sex because he’s too focused on the way he’s wording his sentence.

Your Libra needs texting to be an even exchange. He’s a fair-minded soul who expects the same amount of respect that he gives. However, this can get complicated over text.
