Who Is Simon Tikhman? New Details About Erin Foster's New Husband
The two rang in the new year as husband and wife!
Instagram This just in: Erin Foster is married! David Foster's daughter made things official with her now-husband, Simon Tikhman, on New Year's Eve 2019. But who is Simon Tikhman?
Foster first announced the happy news of the couple's engagement in August 2019 on Instagram with a few photos featuring her ring.
And the actress isn't the only member of her family feeling all lovey-dovey. Her father, David Foster, recently married his much younger lady love, American Idol alum Katherine McPhee, in June 2019. After all, there's more than enough love to go around.
Back in August 2018 when Foster and Tikhman started dating, a source revealed that things were heating up quickly, saying, "It has been around six months and they are very serious." And just over a year later, they are husband and wife!
Who is Simon Tikhman?

1. How did Foster and Tikhman meet?
Foster and Tikhman reportedly met through mutual friends in Los Angeles. He first hit Erin's Instagram feed on Saturday, August 18th, making things official. The 35-year-old alum of The OC also previously dated Harry Styles.
2. Who is Simon Tikhman? He's an entrepreneur.
Simon Tikhman was the Managing Partner of the Fund at First Access Entertainment until September 2019, when he became the CEO of The Core Entertainment. Alongside his brother, Alex Tikhman, he has invested in a growing portfolio of start-ups in Silicon Valley including Robinhood, Philz Coffee, e-sports platform Vision Venture Partners, Espresa, Glmpse, and Exadel.
Tikhman is also a strategic advisor in Monclarity, a software development company and its sister company, video game developer and publisher Tikgames. In this role, he created apps for Kevin Durant and Zayn Malik.
Tikhman is also a graduate of the University of Southern California, earning his BA in Entrepreneurial Studies at The Marshall School of Business in 2006.
3. Erin Foster has a good sense of humor about her father's love life.
The Foster family took a family vacation to Hawaii during the 2018 holiday season. This included her 70-year-old father and his 36-year-old fiancé, and now-wife, Katharine McPhee.
Foster joked she had to keep her eye on Simon during that trip, saying, “Imagine what it’s like to have a boyfriend on a vacation where your stepmom is hotter than you are and younger than you are. It’s, like, I have to make sure I had an eye on him.”
Foster was, of course, totally kidding. She and her sister Sara get along great with McPhee and support her relationship with their father.
Sara Foster added, "We approve of whoever is going to be good to my dad; at the end of the day and we’re very honest about it. If we ever thought that anyone was in something for the wrong reasons, we would be very vocal about it. We just want someone that’s going to treat him well and that cares about him, and I think he’s with someone right now that really does.”
4. The Fosters are close with their new stepmom.
Erin and Sara Foster have been very vocal about their support of their dad and Katharine McPhee. Erin jokingly called her "Mommmmyy" in a comment on an Instagram post of the couple.
Back in September 2018, she had a bit of fun with the age difference between David Foster and McPhee when she posted a picture of the couple on Snapchat with the caption, "Excited about my new step mom."
5. Foster and Tikhman got engaged in August 2019.
Just a year after dating, Tikhman popped the question to Foster. Erin added a photo to Instagram after the proposal, captioning it, “How on earth did I pull this off.”
6. And on New Year's Eve 2019, Tikhman and Foster got married!
The couple has officially tied the knot more than a year after dating, and less than six months after becoming engaged.
On New Year's Eve, Foster and Tikhman married in Nashville. Of course, the Foster family attended the wedding. And Foster showed her excitement leading up to the wedding through her Instagram page, where she shared some cute snaps.
Foster's dad, David, also walked his daughter down the aisle. Now, how sweet is that?
