5 Zodiac Signs Who Socially Isolate Themselves
They need to have some time alone.
Social isolation can happen to extroverts, ambiverts, introverts, or any combination. There are times when you don’t want to be around a crowd of people, aren't feeling up to going to that party, or you just want to stay home.
It’s not that you think of yourself as a hermit or a social piranha, but for whatever reason you just don’t have the energy to engage. If you continue to feel that way for a long time, it could develop into a problem, but if you just need to be by yourself for a while, that’s understandable.
In astrology, who are the most socially isolated zodiac signs? Well, it's not always a bad thing, but there are times when you socially isolate yourself without realizing you’re doing it. If you’re intoxicated to the point where you behave like a jerk, people may not want to be around you, or maybe you have a tendency to attack other people’s beliefs and ideas.
That’s not going to make you very popular. People don’t want to be around others who complain all the time, make everything extra complicated, are completely self-centered, or are too full of themselves to engage. If you do any of that too much, you’ll find that your social life has dried up.
For some people, social isolation is a way to recover from heartbreak or a loss. They need time to get better on their own, without having to explain why they’re feeling so low. Social isolation can be a coping mechanism.
1. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpios feel things deeply, and if they're dealing with heartbreak or some other kind of emotional pain, they'll need to retreat for a while and be by themselves. When Scorpios are hurting, they're not in the mindset for small talk or for interacting with people they don't know well.
Scorpios will look for reasons on why they need to be alone, as if they need to justify it. If being isolated helps one to recover from an emotional upset, then that's what they must do.
2. PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces are very sensitive, and when they're feeling low, even the thought of interacting with other people feels impossible. Pisces would much rather be alone doing something creative or retreating to their imagination than having to put on clothes and getting out there.
Once they feel disconnected from people and their rose-colored glasses have come off, it's difficult for Pisces not to put the blame of their disenchantment on the world at large.
3. CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancers are the masters of feeling, and if they're in pain, they're going to retreat to their homes. Cancers are usually extremely attached to their homes so when they're feeling bad, the idea of leaving the house to hang out with other people is scary.
It's best if Cancer regroups emotionally on their own or with a loved one. It's not that they don't like people, it's more they don't trust people not to make them feel even worse.
4. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
When Taurus is in the mood, there's nothing they enjoy better than a party with fabulous people, gorgeous locations, and delicious food. But when they're going through some things, being around people is not what they need.
For Taurus, solitude is a very productive and healing state, and being alone with their thoughts helps them to process. Once they've had some time to heal, they're able to be social and happy, but they do need to take time to privately heal. They are patient and they're not going to be rushed.
5. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
For Virgos, the first way they socially isolate is by removing themselves from social media for a while. There's just too much stimulus with social media and it gets in the way of their thoughts.
Virgos can get very annoyed at people on their social media feeds, and those feelings of annoyance and irritation can escalate and cause Virgo to feel anxious and angry. It's much better for them to put down their phone and take a vacation from Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for a while.
