Are Leah Messer And Jason Jordan Married?
They love their blended family.
For anyone who has watched 16 and Pregnant, Teen Mom or any of the other spin-off series on MTV, it’s been a wild ride seeing these young women grow up before our eyes. Where their stories began with unplanned pregnancies, we’ve seen many of these ladies have a happy ending.
Maci Bookout went on to marry and have more children; Amber Portwood gave birth to another child with her boyfriend; Catelynn and Tyler have since married and now have two daughters. But one of the most unique stories was that of Leah Messer, who appeared on Teen Mom 2.
On the series, she gave birth to twins Aliannah and Aleeah with her ex-husband Corey Simms. After losing custody to her ex, the two now share custody and are co-parenting on civil terms. She later gave birth to her third daughter, Adalynn, with ex-husband Jeremy Calvert.
In April 2018, she began dating medical salesman Jason Jordan, whom she met through his cousin. He is 40 years old and has a child from a previous marriage, and the couple has a blended family that seems to be working for all parties involved.
But are Leah Messer and Jason Jordan married? That’s what many fans seem to think!
Messer posted a photo on Instagram of her daughter Aleeah at a cheer competition:
“So crazy how big she’s getting. We’re so proud of my girl! @raylansdad416,” she captioned the photo. Jordan then left an adorable comment saying, “She looked gorgeous and did a great job. Proud to be a cheer dad hehe.” This sent fans into a frenzy and started fueling marriage rumors.
But did the two actually tie the knot in secret?
Does the fact that he referred to himself as a “cheer dad” mean they had a secret wedding? Not so fast. It turns out, he’s just being a supportive boyfriend to his girlfriend’s kids.
His replies to the fans’ questions about whether or not they married also led them to question if he was shading Corey Simms when he said, “When the real dad ain’t around you play that role therefore making you the dad in play haha it’s an honor not a chore right homie!”
This, too, was all speculation, and Jordan replied:
“When the real dad, Corey, is not around that means on Leah’s time. He is a VERY good father and is ALWAYS involved with the kids. I saw him today as well. We were BOTH there for the girls. Me as Leah’s boyfriend and Corey as her father. The term cheer dad is a man who is involved with the girls of cheer. Dad. Boyfriend. Fiancé. It doesn’t matter... Corey and I get along PERFECTLY and we are BOTH dads and we both support cheer... It’s not that I’m her dad, lol I’m not. But when he’s not around I take his place as male role model and provider and protector and being a dad that already makes me a dad. That doesn’t just turn off, it just transfers to another child.”
Okay so, no, the two aren’t yet husband and wife, but that doesn’t mean things won’t change in the future. The two seem to be ridiculously in love with one another, and he gets along with her ex! What could be better for her kids and their future?
