Who Is Bibiana Julian? New Details About The 'Bachelor In Paradise' Alum Who Called Former Fling Peter Kraus Out For Lying

getty Anyone who watches The Bachelor knows how things always go down: the Bachelor dates multiple women, falls in love with one or more of them, and then chooses the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with. Then, the couple breaks up a few months later and reports of scorned women surface.
On the flipside, a similar thing happens with The Bachelorette, where the roles are reversed and the Bachelorette decides which man she loves. But sometimes, the drama doesn’t start from the actual Bachelor or Bachelorette who tries to choose a mate. In fact, it can extend well beyond to former contestants and their exes. Such is the case for Bibiana Julian.
But who is Bibiana Julian and what is her beef? Well, it turns out that Peter Kraus, a former contestant on Rachel Lindsay’s season of The Bachelorette, said some things that really upset Julian.
In an interview with the Chicago Tribune, Kraus claimed that he wasn’t romantically involved with Julian. After the author asked him about reports that he’d been linked to Julian, Kraus replied, “That’s funny, because that wasn’t even a date,” referring to a basketball outing with her. “So I know Bibiana from a charity event we did together and told her I was coming down to Miami. I was like, ‘Hey, I got basketball tickets, you want to go?’ So it’s weird. I don’t really go out on public dates anymore for that reason.”
Ouch.
Julian took to Twitter and called out Kraus for denying their relationship:
In Ben Higgins and Ashley Iaconetti’s podcast in December 2018, Julian denied being involved with Kraus, saying, “Nothing is going on with Peter Kraus and I... Absolutely nothing." But when asked if anything had happened between the two before, she revealed, “I wouldn’t say it was something serious... I’m just going to clarify, and I don’t know if he’ll be happy with it, but him and I actually connected right after I got back from Paradise.”
So, it seems like the two had a short-lived fling but it never developed into a romantic relationship.
Still, in an interview with HollywoodLife, Julian explained herself:
“I just woke up on the other side of the bed, where it’s just like, today I’m going to give the world some tea... Once I did that, I had a lot of anxiety. I just spilled it to the world. What frustrated me the most is a lot of people put up this fake persona and they’re so worried about what people think, that they become so paranoid that they shift reality, and they start lying. I understand you want to be private and you want to protect certain parts of your life, but why are you lying?”
Luckily for her, she doesn’t need to dwell on her failed romance with Kraus, because she already has a boyfriend.
Though we don’t know his name or any details about her mystery man, she was set up by mutual friends. “I actually put up a cute kiss photo when I finally announced, like, ‘Okay, I’m in love,’ but I haven’t tagged him because he’s private,” she revealed.
