Twitter Naomi Campbell and Liam Payne are the latest celebrity twosome fueling dating rumors.
The singer and the model have been seen out and about together quite often recently, but an official relationship has not yet been confirmed by either of them. However, the pair has been spotted together various times on what appear to be dates, causing fans to question if Campbell and Payne are really a couple.
Could all of the speculation be true? Are Campbell and Payne really becoming Hollywood's next "it" couple?
Here are some details to know about Naomi Campbell and Liam Payne's rumored romance.
1. They spent New Year's together.
Campbell and Payne rang in 2019 with each other. In fact, this was the first time the pair was seen together, sparking rumors of a possible relationship.
They spent the holiday in Ghana, where they reportedly were partying all night long. Payne even appeared in one of Campbell's Instagram videos.
Just a few days later, the pair was seen together once again as photos caught them sitting next to each other while out having dinner with friends.
2. Their Instagram comments have sparked the dating rumors even further.
They may not be "Instagram official" yet, but that sure hasn't stopped the pair from getting a little flirty with each other over the social media site.
Last month, fans couldn't help but wonder what was really going on between the singer and the model after seeing the comments they had been leaving each other on their respective Instagram pages. On January 15, Campbell left the comment "beautiful soul" under one of the singer's Instagram snaps. And Payne hasn't been shy about expressing his admiration for the model, either. Not only did he respond to her comment, but Payne left another comment on one of Campbell's selfies a few days later where he called her "perfection" and included a kissing face emoji with his message.
So basically Payne and Campbell are almost, but not quite, Instagram official?
3. Both Campbell and Payne are fresh out of other relationships.
Payne broke up with singer and XFactor judge Cheryl in July 2018. The pair had a very publicized relationship. They also share a son. Both Payne and Cheryl announced their separation through Twitter, writing that they still loved each other as a family and to respect the privacy of their son. The singer also reportedly had a short relationship with model Cairo Dwek after his breakup, but they split after only two months of dating.
Campbell had also recently broke off a relationship. The model had been seeing rapper Skepta for almost two years until the pair split in April 2018.
4. They have a 23 year age difference.
The rumored couple has a pretty large age gap between them. Campbell is 48 and Payne is 25.
The difference in age hasn't seemed to have fazed the possible pairing, however, as they've been seen spending time together more and more lately.
5. Campbell and Payne may have been seeing each other a lot sooner than previously thought.
In February 2018, Payne attended a British awards show and the BAFTA's Vogue Fashion and Film event, which Campbell had also attended. He and Cheryl were reportedly going through a "rough patch" at the time and had not been seen together publicly since October 2017.
Although Payne and Campbell were reported to have "partied" together, there were never any photos taken of the two of them with each other.
6. Could their relationship purely be a professional one?
Other rumors suggest that Campbell and Payne's speculated romance may actually be based on professional reasons, not romantic ones. Campbell is one of the most successful, well-known supermodels in the world and some reports suggest that she has used her connections in the industry to "introduce" Payne to influential people who could help him in his career.
In fact, a source reportedly revealed to The Sun that Campbell had even helped Payne get "his foot in the door" to the modeling world. "I have also heard that she has introduced him to lots of people and helped him to get his foot in the door with Hugo Boss. He hopes to appear in one of their adverts,” the source said.
However, another source reportedly disclosed that the pair is indeed, a couple. “They are definitely an item and have been seeing a lot of each other. Liam thinks she’s amazing and beautiful. He seems really into her and acting like he can’t believe his luck. I had seen some internet rumors but I was astounded when I found out it was a proper relationship."
