Police are asking for the public's help to locate a missing Texas mother who vanished on Jan. 5.

Emily Wade, 28, was last seen 11 days ago at about 5 p.m., according to Ennis police.

Wade told her mother she was going over to a male coworker's home to eat pizza and watch a movie. Her mother became worried when she had not returned home, where she lives with her mother and 7-year-old daughter, by Sunday morning. She was scheduled to work an 11 a.m. shift at her job at a local Ennis Chili's restaurant Dec. 6 but was nowhere to be found.

“I’m scared to death, I’ll be honest with you,” Shirley Wade told WFAA four days after she last saw her daughter. “I’m scared to death. I just don’t know what’s wrong.”

Police say Wade's cellphone has been turned off and not used since she disappeared. Her credit card has not been used and her bank account has not been touched.

"I don't think she ran off, I would bet my life on that," Shirley Wade told NBC News. "I’m scared I’ll never see her again alive, and I’ve never said that to anybody else, but I am scared to death."

The father of Wade's daughter said he cannot imagine Wade wanting to be apart from their child.

"She loves her daughter more than anything in the world," Jared Jones told NBC News.

He hasn't told his daughter Wade is missing but senses she knows something is not right.

“It’s going to break her heart," Jones said to WFAA. "We don’t know what to say to her but we’re going to have to say something to her. She’s very intuitive and she knows something is wrong.”

The little girl has been asking where her mother is.

“I can see the pain in my daughter’s eyes," Jones told NBC News. "She tries to stay strong, but I know it’s gotta be eating away at her as well.”

Lt. Michael Hopson with the Ennis Police Department said Jones is not a suspect, but nobody has been cleared as of yet.

"They want to know about where I was Saturday night of course," Jones said. "I expected that, and I have no problem cooperating in any way, polygraph, whatever you need. I just want her home."
