Bravo host Andy Cohen is expecting his first child via surrogate, Who is she?
The godfather of all reality tv is going to be a father in real life. Andy Cohen announced last night that he will be welcoming a baby via surrogate shortly after the new year.
The watch What Happens Live host revealed his existing news on his show, and received applause and squeals of delight from everyone in the studio.
Who is Andy Cohen's surrogate and what does the future hold for him and the baby? Read on to find out.
1. Big reveal
Andy closed out his final show of 2018 by sharing the news that he will be having a baby in about six weeks time. He was visibly emotional as he spoke about the upcoming addition to his family.
2. Single dad
Cohen told Entertainment Tonight in March that he's single. He did say he was open to meeting a new man, saying his dream date is a guy who is “someone who’s very independent, someone who has their own thing going on. Maybe someone who’s never seen The Real Housewives.”
3. Who is the surrogate
The identity of the surrogate so something that Cohen did not reveal. he merely referred to her as “a wonderful surrogate”. It is not uncommon for celebrities who get help from gestational surrogates to keep their identities private.
4. Pink or blue?
Cohen also didn’t reveal the sex of the baby or even whether he has found that out in advance of the birth. Regardless, with this fashionable set of friends buying gifts, the baby will likely be decked out in the very cutest clothes no matter what.
5. Mazel tov
Dozens of celebrities and fans took to social media to congratulate the producer and host on the upcoming birth.
6. Grateful
Andy himself took to Twitter to express his thanks for all the support he's getting from friends and fans alike.
