Sad New Details About Kelsey Berreth, The Colorado Mom Who's Been Missing Since Thanksgiving
Her family says she would not leave her daughter like this.
Kelsey Berreth has not been seen since Thanksgiving.
The 29-year-old Colorado mother disappeared Nov. 22 and has been missing ever since. Security cameras show Berreth shopping at a Safeway store in Woodland Park on Thanksgiving, ABC News reported. Her family says she would never abandon her daughter willingly.
After not hearing from her daughter for three days, Berreth's mother contacted Woodland Park Police. Authorities performed a welfare check and discovered Berreth was nowhere to be found.
Brandon Kindle, Berreth's brother-in-law, told KDVR that the only thing missing from her home was her purse. She left behind travel essentials, such as her luggage and makeup bags, he said.
Berreth's brother Clint said his family has no idea what happened to his sister.
"We really have no idea, we don’t have any more information on it," Clint explained to Q13 Fox. "She’s a flight instructor ... never done anything like this."

According to East Idaho News, Berreth's phone was pinged in Gooding, a small Idaho town over 700 miles from Woodland Park, sometime on Nov. 25.
"It could just be a false ping, or it could be the actual last location for the activity of that phone," Chris Adams of the Woodland Park Police Department told Good Morning America on Sunday. "It makes us wonder what she's doing up there, or what the phone is, potentially, because she may not be there."
Berreth has family in Idaho, according to a Facebook page dedicated to finding the missing mother. Her family describes her as "responsible" and "grounded," and said she would never leave her 1-year-old daughter like this,.
"They’re a very close-knit family," Berreth's cousin, JoDee Garretson, told KEPR-TV, “ That’s why I don’t believe she’d just…She’s got to see people are looking for her. She wouldn’t put them through that.”

“She’s such a good person, a loving person," Garretson continued. "She’s grounded and responsible. She has a one-year-old child, she wouldn’t just leave her.”
Police are working closely with Berreth's family in an effort to locate her.
"All I can ask is people continue to pray, continue to share, continue to know her face and if they see her anywhere, please, please say something," Kindle said.
Authorities have not made any mention of foul play regarding Berreth's disappearance. The FBI has gotten involved in the case.
“If she’s out there and doesn’t want to be contacted, just let us know that she’s safe and we’ll let her family know,” Adams told CBS News.
Meanwhile, her family just wants her home safe.
"I just want her to come home," Kindle, told ABC News. "I find myself calling her quite often and her phone just goes to voicemail."
Kelsey Berreth is a white female. She is 5' 3" tall, 110 pounds, with brown hair. She was last wearing a white shirt, gray sweater and blue pants.
