It might be your friends, co-workers, or even people you don’t know, but you can tell they’re talking about you by the way they look at you and then look away, their gestures (including the subtle pointing at you), and sometimes even laughing.
Unfortunately, there are some two-faced zodiac signs who are more likely to be the kind of person who talks behind your back. And if astrology is an indicator of anything, it's someone's personality traits that make them do things like this.
When you learn that your friends are talking behind your back, it feels like a major betrayal, especially if what they’re saying is malicious and untrue. Knowing that someone is gossiping about you will not only break your trust with that person, but it will also make you extremely cautious about trusting anyone ever again.
Spreading rumors about another person is hurtful and disrespectful, even if that’s not the intention. It doesn't matter what their reasons were for saying nasty things about someone when they’re not there because the end results may have severe consequences.
Some people think they’re only showing concern for the person when they talk about them behind their back. But if you’re worried about someone’s behavior, the best thing you can do is to talk to them directly and leave the gossip for high schoolers.
1. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Geminis love to talk and sometimes they love to talk about other people. It's not that they're deliberately trying to be mean, but they find other people's lives fascinating.
Once they have people engaged in a conversation about someone else, they can't stop. Geminis love to use their insight to examine the choices that other people make and think about how they'd do it differently.
2. LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Leos tend to stay updated about anyone and anything. They spend hours on social media looking at other people's pages and forming opinions about them. Since Leos love drama, they're always searching for foolish behavior that they can talk about.
Leos talk about other people because other people talk about them. They love attention and being talked about, so they don't think it's a huge deal when they're talking behind someone's back. That's much better than being overlooked and forgotten.
3. LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
Libras love secrets and they have a gift for getting people to confide in them. However, it's extremely difficult for them not to share topics they were supposed to keep to themselves.
Libras are great people-watchers and love learning about other people's lives, so much so that they can't help making those lives the topic of conversation. Libras look at talking about people behind their backs — not as shady behavior, but as great conversation material.
4. AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
When an Aquarius is talking about someone, it usually isn't intentional; it just slips out by accident. They don't understand that they're doing anything wrong and they don't see why anyone would get emotional over it.
Aquarians can be somewhat closed-mouthed about their own lives and think if someone wanted something to stay private they should have taken actions to prevent it from getting out.
5. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
Aries enjoy bonding with people and what better way to break the ice than to talk about mutual friends and the mistakes they've made or are going to make?
Sometimes, Aries is so impulsive that they don't even realize they're openly talking about something that was meant to stay private. Talking about other people makes them feel better about themselves and some of the mistakes they've made in their lives.
6. CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancers don't always enjoy having the focus on them, so in order to shift it, they'll talk about someone else. Cancers can feel nervous when they're around people they don't know well and not even be aware they're talking behind someone's back.
It's not as if they're purposely trying to start rumors, it's that they go into a zone and are fully aware of what's coming out of their mouth. They can be over-sharers in their own life, so it's not surprising they'd overshare about other people's lives as well.
