From the time they are born, many boys are told that they must be tough. They are told that expressing emotions makes them weak, and no one wants a weak man. Though it’s tough, this is the reality for so many men.
Because of this, men have mastered the art of pretending like everything is ok. They have learned to laugh everything off and wouldn’t dare admit that they too have fears. One of those fears for many guys is asking a woman out.
Don’t be fooled by their calm demeanors, men also get shy when they are around someone they like. They too get butterflies and hesitate to make a move. Often times their pride simply cannot handle being turned down, so asking a woman out is a difficult task.

ARIES (March 21 - April 19)

In the past he has rushed into expressing his feelings to someone without giving much thought into how that person felt. This has just lessened his confidence and caused him to be insecure when it comes to making the first move.

TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
The sign of Taurus is known for lacking initiative. Taking initiative freaks them out. The Taurus that is into you gets scared just thinking about asking you out. This happens often when he is attempting to catch the girl of his dreams.
Asking you out is too big of a risk because he isn’t sure of your emotions and just the thought of you not saying yes is too much to bear. He would rather just wait for you to make the first move, that way he can be clear about where you stand.
GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Even though Gemini’s are social butterflies, they too get nervous when having to ask someone they really like out. A huge part of this comes from Gemini men being indecisive about their feelings.

CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancers have a deep fear of rejection. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that Cancers do whatever they can to avoid situations that could easily result in them being turned away.
They are already overwhelmed by their own insecurities and negative views of the world, so being turned down after asking you out will only instantly make all of his insecurities surface. He cannot handle this, as it will just drive him further away from being able to overcome his shortfalls.

LEO (July 23 - August 22)
A Leo is used to feeling like a king, and kings rarely ever get told no. He is scared to ask you out because it wouldn’t know how to respond if you said no. His pride would be too hurt, and he wouldn’t know how to interact with you in the future.
He would always be reminded that you were the person who made him feel less confident, less powerful. This would be a difficult reality to face, and Leos are known to run away from facing difficult realities.
VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Virgo men can be surprisingly shy and therefore hate taking center stage. Asking you out puts too much unwanted attention on him. He is also known to be overly critical. He will drive himself crazy trying to think of the perfect way to ask you to be his girlfriend.
He is too afraid that if he misses even the slightest detail that he will mess it up which will result in him and you being disappointed. As a Libra, he prides himself on being a man who doesn’t waste time on relationships that are superficial. One of his main goals in life is to find a compatible partner who he can give his all to.
He is worried that he might be moving too fast with you, and that asking you out right now will scare you away. He will be upset with himself if he is wrong about the way you feel because he would have waste time on someone who he was never meant to have a future with.
He will try with all his might not to hold you saying no against you, but your Libra love interest can hold a grudge like no other. He is therefore willing to wait to make sure you are truly the one for him.
