5 Zodiac Signs Who Make The Best Cooks
They cook from the heart so that everything they make is delicious.
What makes someone a good cook? Is it a love of food, an encyclopedic knowledge of techniques and ingredients, or a willingness to try new flavors and combinations? Well, it’s all of those things — and more. And when it comes to the
zodiac signs who make the best cooks, they give you a run for your money.
A good cook must have a natural talent, an eagerness to learn, and the ability to trust their instincts. Also, it’s important for a cook to know how to experiment and take chances while still being able to follow a basic recipe. Great cooking is more than just a skill; it’s a talent. You don’t just throw a bunch of ingredients together and hope that it tastes good; no, you try to find flavors that meld and highlight each other.
Some zodiac signs in astrology tend to have the personality traits that are best needed for a cook. If you have no interest in food or making food for other people, you’re probably not going to be a good cook.
Excellent cooks love to observe other cooks and learn from them. When you love food and cooking, you have respect for those who came before. A cook may serve humble meals in her house, but that doesn't mean her meals are any less important than the ones served in 5-star restaurants.
1. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Anyone who is as in touch with their senses as Taurus is almost has to be a great cook. Add in their love of flavor, beauty, and indulgence, and you've got an incredible cook.
Tauruses use their sense of smell, taste, sight, and touch when they're cooking. They aren't going to serve anything that isn't exquisitely plated or has no taste. Food is something that needs to be savored and enjoyed for Taurus ,and there's very little they regret as much as a bad meal.
2. CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancers are great home-cooks and love to make comfort food for their family and friends. In fact, Cancers do their best cooking for others. They may not have all the culinary tricks and techniques, but they know a few that tend to serve them well such as roasting, stir-frying, and braising.
Cancers may not constantly experiment with foods, but the things they've perfected are usually delicious. They do seem to know exactly what to cook for a loved one to make them feel loved.
3. LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
Libras are good cooks because they like to try new flavors and use different cooking methods. Their innate sense of balance serves them well when they're preparing a dish. Libras are rule followers which is a good trait to have, especially when baking.
However, they have the ability to adapt a recipe as they go along. Another reason Libras are such good cooks is because they learn from their mistakes and when they try a dish they failed at before, it's usually 10 times better.
4. CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Cooking helps Capricorn to relax and it's very healing for them. They're able to enjoy the act of chopping an onion, washing some leafy greens, or any mundane task in the kitchen. They are willing to do the hard work that some recipes require, especially if they've had delicious results in the past.
Capricorns have a healthy appetite but they're not gluttons so they don't overstuff the people they're cooking for. They tend to have a long list of their most successful dishes but are constantly adding on to the list.
5. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
One of the things that Geminis appreciate most about cooking is they know a shared meal can help bond people together, and talking about what's been prepared is a great ice-breaker. They use spices and ingredients from all over the world.
Gemini's culinary gift is that they know which foods and flavors complement one another. They love learning about the food from other cultures and are often are the starters of a food trend.
