5 Nervous Zodiac Signs Who Are Always Anxious
Being nervous is a normal response to facing something that scares you.
There’s a difference between nervousness and anxiety, even though we sometimes use them interchangeably. When you’re feeling nervous it’s usually in response to a potentially scary situation: speaking in front of a group of people, going on a first date, or getting test results back from the doctor.
Anxiety, on the other hand, can come on suddenly and intensely. You might have a panic attack that feels like a heart attack, with heart palpitations, sweating, and nausea. Generally, with nervousness, when the scary thing is done, you feel much better. With anxiety, it can continue on and can get progressively worse.
And in astrology, there are certain nervous zodiac signs who have a predisposition for feeling this way. Sometimes they can be nervous and not even be aware of it!
Nervousness can cause stress, so it’s a good idea to take deep breaths, move your body, and meditate. The calmer you are, the quicker the feeling of nervousness will go away. Also, if you work on your confidence levels and have a positive outlook, the less scary situations there will be to make you nervous.
1. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Geminis get nervous when they bite off more than they can chew, which is something they do all the time. They get overwhelmed and nervous that they won't do a good job or that they'll disappoint someone.
Geminis rarely have any downtime and are constantly going from one place to the next, never giving a task their full attention or ability. They would be a lot less nervous if they'd slow down and learn how to say "no" sometimes. The amount that they over-commit is enough to make anyone nervous.
2. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
It's due to Virgo's natural perfectionism that they get nervous. They want everything to be perfect, so they put a lot of pressure on themselves to deliver and they always worry that they messed up.
Sometimes when they feel that things aren't going the way they want, they'll sabotage everything as if to say that it was never going to be perfect anyway, so why not destroy what you've got and build something new from the ruins? Virgos can be very harsh and critical with themselves, which makes them even more nervous when they're around other people.
3. PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces are very sensitive and that tends to put them on edge when they're in situations they can't control. Their natural inclination is to help people, especially when they ask, even if that person has burned Pisces before.
Trusting someone who hasn't earned their trust makes Pisces very nervous. They don't want to get hurt but it's practically impossible for them not to help someone in need. Pisces have a lot of natural fear which they work to overcome, and it's the feeling the fear and doing it anyway that makes them the most nervous.
4. LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
There are a lot of things that make Libras nervous — did they make the right decision, is there going to be an argument that Libra is going to have to break up, or does someone not like them?
Libras, like most people, don't want to do things they don't enjoy but know they have to do them. However, this means that Libra has to face some of their fears and suck it up, which makes them nervous. Libras don't want to be around people who don't understand or like them, but sometimes that can be hard to avoid.
5. CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancers don't like failing and if something has the potential to cause them to fail, they get nervous. Cancers would prefer a sure thing. They can get very suspicious of people and their motives, so new people and new circumstances can make them feel nervous.
They have many real and imagined fears which cause them to be nervous and anxious. If a Cancer has to spend some time away from their home, that is a huge source of nervousness for them.
