Who Is Steve Kazee? Everything You Wanted To Know About Jenna Dewan's Fiancé
Both Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum have moved on romantically.
getty Jenna Dewan is officially engaged! The happy news came just a few days after Valentine's Day when the actress confirmed her engagement to Steve Kazee through her Instagram. The photo showed off Dewan's ring and the caption read, “A lifetime to love and grow with you... you have my heart.”
Kazee posted the same photo to his own page with the caption, “When you wake in the morning I will kiss your face with a smile no one has ever seen. When you wake in the morning I will kiss your eyes and say it’s you I have loved all these years.”

Kazee was first spotted with Dewan in 2018 over the Halloween weekend, shortly after Dewan officially filed for divorce. Dewan and Channing Tatum had announced their separation in April 2018 after almost 9 years of marriage.
“We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple,” Dewan and Tatum wrote in a joint statement on Instagram. “Absolutely nothing has changed about how much we love one another, but love is a beautiful adventure that is taking us on different paths for now.”
Since their split, Tatum has had an off-and-on relationship with singer Jessie J. In October 2018, a source first revealed that the two had been together for a couple of months. “It’s new, casual and they’re having fun together,” another source said at the time about the new couple.
And according to Instagram, Dewan had moved on as well. On October 17, 2018, a source said that Dewan was “seeing someone new,” though at the time the new boyfriend’s identity was a mystery.
As of Halloween weekend, however, Dewan and her new man had decided to take their relationship public. The two attended the 2018 Casamigos Halloween party where they got their PDA on. “He’s super handsome,” a source detailed. “She was introducing him to people in the group.”
So who was this “handsome” man who had captured Dewan’s heart?

If one thing was sure about Kazee, it was that he is definitely not a mystery man in Hollywood! The actor has had roles in Shameless opposite Emmy Rossum (remember her short-lived relationship with Gus?), Legends, and Nashville, among others.
He also notably won a Tony Award in 2012 for Best Actor in a Musical and a Grammy for Musical Theater Album in 2013. “All I ever wanted to do was be on Broadway,” he once said. According to his Instagram page, he’s also a loving dog dad, which is by far the most important trait in any man.
Despite their divorce and respective new romantic relationships, Dewan and Tatum worked to keep their relationship amicable. “We are still a family and will always be loving dedicated parents to Everly,” they said at the time of their split.
Their divorce was finalized in November 2019 and the former couple has agreed to share equal custody of their daughter.
According to sources, Channing is very happy for Dewan and her relationship with Kazee!
A source claimed, "Channing is very happy for Jenna and Steve's engagement. Channing has expressed that he is happy Jenna is in a good place and has moved on." The source also stated that Dewan has a "special place in Channing's heart since she's the mother of his child."
In September 2019, Dewan announced she and Kazee were expecting. The couple announced, “We are beyond overjoyed and couldn’t be happier to be expanding our family!” The baby is Kazee's first and Dewan's second, as she shares 6-year-old daughter Everly with Tatum.
