5 Quitter Zodiac Signs Who Give Up Way Too Easily
They're the opposite of relentless.
getty Are you one of the zodiac signs who give up easily? If you use astrology as a guide, you can determine if you're the type of person who is quick to quit when the going gets tough. It's hard to carry on when you let frustration take over.
In my 6th grade class, we were building model airplanes. The work was precise and detail orientated — two things that aren’t my strong point. After starting three different models, I finally was able to get one partially finished... and then it collapsed. I was so mad that I threw it to the floor and started jumping on it. I would also concede in a game before I actually lost it. It’s like I didn't want to be told I was a loser and felt I had more control if I just took myself out of the game.
To continue doing something when you’re frustrated or angry takes tenacity and the willingness to keep going, even if you’re ultimately going to fail. It’s hard to keep going when it seems pointless and quitting is so much easier. But are you a zodiac sign who is quick to throw in the towel?
1. PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces give up because they're over-sensitive and pessimistic. They ask themselves why they should continue when it's never going to work out anyway?
If they're doing something like an art project and it's not coming together, Pisces will just let it go and move onto something else. They don't want to be associated with something that's okay or not bad — they want their work to be thought of as brilliant and inspired.
2. LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
Libras tend to have certain commitment issues. If something seems too difficult or challenging, their first instinct is to stop. They want to do well, but things don't seem promising, so Libra will quit.
It's not that they're not willing to fight for what they believe in, it's that if something doesn't have life-changing consequences, they probably won't want to make the effort and continue on.
3. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Geminis quit things too quickly because they get bored and want to do something else — hopefully something more interesting and fun. They not only procrastinate about doing something in the first place, but it's also not unlike them to get to a certain point and stop with the plan that they'll return to finish in the near future.
The problem is over time that unfinished project becomes less interesting and the idea to just not ever finish it becomes more appealing.
4. CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancers can also be somewhat pessimistic so seeing something through becomes less and less important, or Cancer's emotions can get in the way of them finishing something. They can take any problems that have arisen and then get bogged down with what they see as their failure.
It's not unlike them to have a narrative going in their head about how meaningless and inconsequential something is and how since they're unable to do the task well they should just let it go.
5. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
There are times that a Sagittarius will get so impatient that they'll just quit and move on to another project that's easier to accomplish. They'd rather have a bunch of easy wins than have to work long and hard on something that may not have much of a payoff.
They might believe that someone else would do a better job than they ever could, so why not leave it up to that person to complete what Sagittarius could not? When something starts to feel like an albatross around Sagittarius' neck, they'd rather cut it loose than struggle with it.
