Qualley is a dancer, actress and model. She made her debut in 2011 at the age of 16 walking for Alberta Ferretti during New York Fashion Week. As an actress, she is best known for playing Jill Garvey in HBO's The Leftovers. She also starred as Mia Sutton in 2017's Death Note.

Qualley is the daughter of fellow actress and model Andie MacDowell. She is the youngest of three children born to MacDowell and her first husband, Paul Qualley.
