Who Is Amanda Stanton's Ex-Husband? New Details On Nick Buonfiglio — And Her Shocking Arrest
She got into an altercation with her new boyfriend.
Bachelor in Paradise fans were shocked when Amanda Stanton was arrested on September 10th for domestic battery. After a drunken post-bachelorette party at the Encore, police responded to a noise complaint where Stanton attempted to intervene and shoved her boyfriend, Bobby Jacobs. Security called police and arrested her for misdemeanor domestic battery.
According to Jacobs, Stanton started hitting him while he was still in bed, and then they argued for hours. She also took the room’s phone and swung it at him. She tried to kick him and he attempted to pin her down to get her to stop, but she kept pinching and scratching him. All of this was because Jacobs apparently didn’t answer her calls.
In the wake of her arrest, her ex-husband seemed worried for her. But who is Amanda Stanton's ex-husband?
Stanton and Nick Buonfiglio wed in 2012 and were married for just three years. But in that time, the couple had two daughters, Kinsley and Charlie. Both of his daughters are the loves of his life, as he's said in his Instagram, and he cherishes all the time he gets to spend with them.
Though there aren't many details about his personal life before and after their divorce, it seems that he also loves his family and spends time with his sister, Gina, and brother, Joey. He's also a sales associate and received many certificates at his job; he also earned the title of Sales Associate of the Year in 2013.
This was before she appeared on Ben Higgins’ season of The Bachelor and revealed they had a toxic relationship.
“I’ve been through a lot in relationships. I was married to the father of my kids when my first daughter was 6 months old... there were always red flags... he liked to go out a lot. I ended up getting pregnant with my second daughter and I feel like at that point things went downhill... He had a very addictive personality and wasn’t always the nicest person to me,” she confided in Higgins.
But while their marriage may be over, her ex is committed to taking care of their children.
He told Us Weekly, “I’m focused on the one thing that’s most important to both of us: the kids. Amanda is an adult, and will handle this on her own terms. It seems to me it was blown way out of proportion. I am solely focused on my kids not getting backlash from this, all I ask from everyone that weighs in is to remember the damage it can have on our children. Of course I support Amanda, she’s the mother of my children.”
Stanton’s rep said her arrest was all a misunderstanding and called it a “playful” shove. Granted, it was 3:15 in the morning and she was intoxicated, so we can’t be too sure about that. For now, the most important thing is that her children are safe and cared for.
