This is especially true when you're busy at work, stressed about family stuff, and trying to have a social life on top of doing enough for your partner. Every single zodiac sign goes through that. And every single zodiac sign asks themselves how when everything is creating so much stress and needing so much attention around them, can they still make their man happy.
I think it's important to note here that happiness – and knowing how to make him happy – doesn't take a lot of planning or effort. I mean, yes, you always want to try for your partner, but you also don't have to plan a big surprise over the course of a whole week just to see him crack a smile.

Making someone happy can be as simple as letting him know how much he means to you. Getting a gift from the person you love would most definitely make you happy, especially if they said, "This made me think of you," but hearing the words, "Hey, I really appreciate having you in my life," means a lot, too.
My point is, knowing how to keep him happy is about letting him know how special he is to you. Because life is never going to slow down for you (or for him).
So, it's much better to learn how to make time for your partner and adapt your relationship to the hectic life you lead – and vice versa – so that you never go a day without being happy in your relationship.
You might not be happy all day, every day, but you should always reach for being happy every day of your relationship. Depending on what his horoscope sign is, you want to do something specific to keep your man happy.
It doesn't help to find techniques online that are clearly not something he's going to respond positively to because then you'll have to worry about backtracking first before starting over – not good.

TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Taurus is a natural protector – whenever he’s in a relationship, he likes being the big, strong man that can protect and take care of his partner. He doesn’t do this because he’s a clingy partner, but more so because he wants you to know that he would do quite literally anything to keep you safe and out of harm’s way any day of the week.
If you want to make him happy, go with this protector/protected thing he loves so much. He knows that you don’t always need saving, but it does tickle him when you appreciate his kind gestures. Even when you’re still able to carry your own groceries, handle your own stressful situations in life, and stand up for yourself, let him know every so often that he’s your favorite superhero (and let him carry the groceries once in a while).
GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Gemini is told that he has to act like a responsible adult with self-control every Monday through Friday, from 9 to 5. If he comes home acting all goofy around you, or wants to hug you for hours during the weekend, it’s because he’s looking for that release that work isn’t going to give him. He knows that he can act childlike at times, but he only does it to blow off some steam before Monday rolls around again.
Keep him happy by indulging him in his playfulness. Embrace his (and your) inner child by making your time together memorable. Go to a paintball gallery on the weekend, take a bath together (with bubble beards), or eat ice cream sundaes for breakfast and not worry about how you’ll feel the next day. Knowing that the most fun person in his life is waiting for him at home makes boring days at the office not matter as much.
CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancer spends a lot of time taking care of the people in his life that it can be easy to forget that he needs taken care of, too. When Cancer is not given the love and attention he needs, it can make him feel insecure; like he doesn’t deserve love. Even if this isn’t intentional at all, it can make him want to crawl into his shell and protect himself.
Keep him happy by making him feel secure and loved when he’s with you. The world is scary and unforgiving, but knowing that you’re the calming factor that feels like home in his life will remind him why this relationship is so good. Home cooked meals, designated snuggle time, and weekly check-ins regarding each other’s feelings will always make him happy.
LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Leo loves having his ego stroked by people who look up to him. He does already know that he’s successful, confident, and a role model, but there’s always something about hearing that from someone else that puts him on Cloud 9. He’s certainly not narcissistic or full of himself, but he does like knowing that all his hard work in life is being recognized.
If you want to keep him happy, praise him every now and then. But don’t just tell him he’s your amazing man who can achieve anything when you’re home alone – talk him up in front of people. Let everyone know that you’re his number one fan and that he inspires you every single day. Virgo loves being the man who is needed in his partner’s life. Even though he knows you’re fully capable of taking care of yourself, his heart does a little flutter whenever you tell him you need help. He also knows that being too overbearing and treating you like a child isn’t going to make either of you happy. So, he tends to pick and choose when to be your knight in shining armor.
Make him happy by letting him help you, rather than waiting for him to ask. It’s so easy for us to get into a solo routine – like cooking dinner. Next time, ask him to help you chop veggies or fold the laundry. It might be a little mundane, but it’ll make him feel wanted. LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
When Libra’s in a relationship, he wants to be in it 100 percent. He has fallen hard for you and hopes that you feel just as intensely for him as he does for you. My point is, Libra loves deeply. In addition to wanting his feelings reciprocated, he also wants to keep the romance alive every single day. I know, I know –it’s hard! You’re busy, he’s busy, you have excuses, so does he… but it’s important to him that you at least try.
If you want to keep him happy, make sweet romantic gestures out of the blue. Surprise him with a candlelit dinner after a long workday, send him cute love texts during the day (complete with heart eye emojis), or go on an impromptu weekend getaway together. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)

Capricorn is one of those zodiac signs that never stops grinding. If he isn’t catching up on extra work or a new project when he’s at home after a long day, he’s still hard at work in the office. Because of his ambition and drive, he’s used to succeeding big time. Of course, when he inevitably fails at something – because, hey, nobody’s perfect (not even Capricorn) – it can be a serious blow to his ego.
Capricorn sometimes feels like one failure can define his whole future; it’s hard for him to shake it off and push forward when he fails at something he put so much effort into. To keep him happy, learn how to support him when he’s down without criticizing him. His head is already full of negativity; be that light at the end of the tunnel that keeps him going. AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
It can sometimes feel like Aquarius is asking for a lot when you’re with him, but in reality, he just wants to know that the two of you can be independent together, rather than solely dependent on each other. His idea of a relationship is throwing the rulebook away and being in the anti-relationship. He’s got some crazy ideas, but they’re worth listening to every now and then.
Keep him happy by giving him the space he so badly needs. Remember that rulebook? The one that says couples must always do everything together? Yeah, not his thing. Give him enough space to thrive on his own and your relationship will be that much stronger for it. Pisces wants a lot of fairytale romance in his relationship, but he also wants a partner who understands him. He wants to know that when he’s ready to leave a party you’ll be able to see it in his eyes, when he’s hungry you know exactly what to order, and when he’s tired that he likes when you rub his back. Know that the little things matter to him and he’ll be in love with you forever.
If you want to keep him happy (and understood), surprise him with something meaningful every now and then. It can be something small, like a text saying “I know your week’s been hard, keep toughing it out,” to something big, like buying him that book he said he could wait until his birthday to get.
