Are Noah Centineo And Lana Condor Dating IRL?
The stars of 'To All The Boys I've Loved Before' do look cute together.
Are To All The Boys I've Loved Before's Noah Centineo and Lana Condor dating IRL? Admittedly, the idea of Lara Jean and Peter being together gives us all the feels. If you're wondering who we are talking about take a step back, log into your Netflix account and give To All The Boys I've Loved Before a watch. It's the can't-miss, super-adorable, rom-com of the year. It is based on the best selling YA novel of the same name by Jenny Han.
Lana Condor plays Lara jean Covey, a shy 16-year-old who processes the intense emotions she has when she gets a crush on someone by writing the object of her affection a love letter. She then puts the letter in a box hidden in the deep recesses of her closet. Those letters accidentally get sent out (and how and by whom is one of the movie's cutest moments) to the boys they were written to and Lara Jean has to cope with the extreme embarrassment of facing her deepest feelings.
Noah Centineo plays Peter Kavinsky in the film. If you haven't already guessed, he got one of Lara Jean's love letters. Peter is a lacrosse-playing jock. The chemistry between Noah's Peter and Lana's Lara Jean is hot AF. Chemistry that palpable has to go deeper than just the film, right? Even the film's director Susan Johnson saw the chemistry. She cast Noah at Peter because of the chemistry he and Lana had. Are Noah Centineo and Lana Condor dating IRL? Let's investigate.
1. They like to snuggle.
There is a point in 'To All The Boys I've Loved Before' where the camera pans in on Lara's iPhone lockscreen. On it is a pic of Lara Jean and Peter snuggled up napping on a couch. That photo wasn't staged for the movie — it was an actual shot of Lana and Noah snuggled up taking a nap on the set of the film. One of the members of the film crew took the photo. Director Susan Johnson told ET Online, "The two of them were in the green room on set at the high school location, in the area where we put the actors. They actually were sleeping on the couch in that room like that, so we just stood over them and took that picture and it’s so friggin’ cute."
2. He is a flirt
Remember the scene where Peter put his hand in Lara Jean's back pocket and twirled her around? For one thing, it made us swoon. But that scene was improvised. Basically, Noah spontaneously thought "Hey, I'll just stick my hand in her back pocket and chill." That's either some serious method acting or flirting! The director told ET Online, "The spin in the back pocket was also Noah. He did it in the rehearsal and I was like, 'That is beautiful, we’re going to change the shot around!' He’s a natural flirt so he knew what he was doing."
3. Their social media
On Monday Lana Condor posted a photo of with Noah and captioned it "Honestly, just call us mom and dad." Then Noah Centineo posted the exact same photo of himself holding Lana from behind and captioned it, "She melts my heart." It is the first photo of Noah and Lana that he posted that isn't a red capet pic or still from the film. Hmmmmm....
4. The press tour
Basically, the press tour for To All The Boys I've Loved Before has been a non stop flirt fest. Well, here, take a look for yourself.
5. She's charmed by him
Netflix released a video of Lana, Noah, and Israel Broussard. In the video Noah and Israel try to woo Lana with their best pickup lines. There are some cute line like, "Can I take a picture of you so that Santa knows what i want for Christmas?" And the chemistry between Noah and Lana is palpable. Take a look for yourself.
6. There's just one thing...
Lana Condor and Noah Centineo are real people, not their characters. Noah is single IRL and Lana has a boyfriend, an actor named Anthony De La Torres. Lana calls her boyfriend Anthony her best friend. "We laugh all the time. I think that’s very important, that a friend makes you laugh, and you’re just giddy around them all the time." You may have seen Lana's boyfriend as a young Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales in 2017.
