Who is Heather Locklear's fiancé? Heather Locklear is currently in the hospital on a 5150 psychiatric hold for threatening to shoot herself. Thank goodness she didn't have a gun when she was making this threat. Her breakdown reportedly stems from an argument she had with her fiancé Chris Heisser on Friday night, during which she accused him of cheating on her. Who is Chris Heisser? How did he meet Heather? Let's look at what we know so far.
1. They were high school sweethearts.
Heather Locklear and Chris Heisser dated when they were students at Newbury Park High School. They went to prom together. Locklear posted Heisser's yearbook photo on her Insta and captioned it: "Happy Birthday to My first love and final Love. Forever isn't long enough." She also has called him her favorite person on earth.
2. They got back together after Heather's breakup.
After Locklear broke up with Marc Mani, her boyfriend of three years, she reached out to her old boyfriends Heisser. Chris and Heather have been dating for more than a year.
3. They have a volatile relationship.
Heather and Chris have gotten into serious fights. Back in August 2017, the two got into a knock down, drag out fight during which Heather flew into a rage and was throwing things at Chris. Three weeks later, she crashed her Porsche into a ditch near her house in Thousand Oaks after a fight between the couple that ended when Locklear stormed out, got into her car, and drove away. Then, in February 2018, Heather was arrested on domestic abuse charges after another fight with Chris. She posted $20,000 bail and checked into rehab after that incident.
4. He proposed last fall.
Chris proposed to Heather in October 2017. She said yes but had never confirmed their engagement publicly. Her family thinks Chris is no good for her and his family is worried that she is on drugs and drinking again. A source close to the couple told ET that Chris parties with Heather.
5. He was a Motocross racer.
In the 1980s, Heisser was a motocross racer known as the "Tin Can," due to his Honda bike that had an aluminum gas tank. He was a top 10 finisher nationally in the AMA 125cc division in 1982 and 1983.
6. He was a contractor until he went to jail.
After his motocross career was over, Heisser became a contractor and sold homes. He lost his realtor's and contractor's licenses when he was convicted of fraud in 2013. Heisser forged the signature of one of the homeowners on construction loan documents to illegally obtain thousands of dollars from the mortgage company, according to the California Contractors State License Board.
Heisser also forged his brother's signature on a California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) license renewal form as well as on Secretary of State forms. He was charged with 42 counts of forgery and corruption of records, two counts of grand theft, one count of using someone else's identification, and one count of conducting a business transaction without a license. He spent two years in prison and was ordered to pay more than $650,000 in restitution to his victims.
7. He's divorced with kids.
Chris Heisser has children from a former relationship and is divorced. Heather was also married before. She was married to Tommy Lee from 1986 to 1993 and Richie Sambora from 1994 to 2007. She and Sambora have a 20-year old daughter, Ava, together.
8. He was arrested for a DUI.
In February, on the same day that Heather was arrested for domestic abuse against Heisser, he was pulled over on the 101 freeway for driving very slowly. He was arrested and charged with driving under the influence.
