Why Did David Dobrik And Liza Koshy Break Up? New Details About The YouTuber's Relationship And The Real Reason For Their Split

Lisa Koshy and David Dobrik confirmed in an emotional video that they had broken up some time ago, but they weren't ready to tell their friends or their fans.
“Liza broke up with my six months ago,” Dobrik stated in the video. “It wasn’t healthy for us to continue to be together…for now.”
Koshy added: “What we’re saying is we’re friends and you never know what could happen…for now.”
During the six-minute video, Dobrik and Koshy were applauded by fans for their ability to goof around and laugh even though things did get really emotional.
Koshy admitted that she was going through "personal stuff" that didn't allow her to love herself enough to love someone else.
She didn't elaborate or get into specifics on what that was.

“She felt that we’ve been kind of distant because we’ve been so busy, period,” Dobrik continued. “I was feeling that on my side, too, but I don’t have the balls to pull the trigger.”
They admitted that they didn't even tell their friends they had broken up until three months ago because they were "so angry" that they had become so distant.
Koshy assured her fans that Dobrik always treated her well and with respect and that their breakup had nothing to do with them not loving each other. They also promised to stay friends and continue making videos together.
“Bottom line is, she’s the best girl ever,” David gushed. “Literally, I’ve ever met in my life. I know online Liza seems like she’s a really nice girl, but if you get to know her, it’s so weird…it’s the exact same thing."
"There’s not a bad bone in her body. Which is why it’s not fair that she feels..not the best..sometimes.”
