If you’re curious as what Iggy has tattooed on her body, well we have each tattoo, images, and what they all mean to her.
1. "Colour me free" Tattoo
Iggy has "Colour me Free" tattooed on her foot. She never confirmed the meaning of the tattoo, but What's Good Online speculated that she got it to represent "freedom and a fresh start." It symbolized her experience when moving to the U.S. from Australia for her career. She knew that it was time to chase her dreams and it all started with leaving home.
2. Blindfolded Horse
It's no secret that the hip-hop artist loves horses. She told People in 2016 that riding horses has been therapeutic for her. “When you’re going over jumps or riding a horse, there’s nothing else that your brain can think about. You don’t have the time to think about those other things – you just have to think about staying on the horse," Azalea explained. It helps to be able to mentally have the space where you can go for an hour or two and really switch your brain off." With her love and passion for horses, the equestrian beauty took the initiative to get a tattoo of a blindfolded horse on her right arm.
3. "Live Love A$AP" Tattoo
Live Love A$AP tattoo was inspired by her ex-boyfriend rapper and model A$AP Rocky's 2011 album of the same name. She has the three words tattooed on the insider of her ring, middle, and index fingers. However, after their breakup, Iggy went on to cross out the "A$AP" part of the tattoo and went even further when she removed the tattoo completely in 2015.
4. "Trust Your Struggle" Tattoo
Iggy tattooed those words on her right forearm. According to Celebrity Tattoo Designs, Iggy saw the phrase written on a wall and identified with it so much she decided to get it permanently added to her body. Iggy says this tattoo reminds her to "never give up, no matter how tough a time she is having," according to Popstar Tats.
5. The New Classic
Iggy's first album under a major label is titled "The New Classic." She has this tatted on her right hand on her middle, ring, and pinkie fingers. According Popstar Tats, Iggy said about her album name, "I think people think of classic and they think of a Nas record or a Jay-Z record or The Chronic; what makes something classic is when you hear it and have that moment that is a time capsule." However, she explained her meaning is different. "When I say 'The New Classic,' I just want to make records that give you that moment for fans that they can remember where they were when they heard it."
6. Birth of Venus
Iggy's Birth of Venus tattoo was once a flower tattoo that she decided to cover up. Iggy felt that her flower tattoo was ugly and old and wanted to change. She covered it with a piece inspired by the Italian Renaissance masterpiece by Botticelli titled "Birth of Venus." According to What's Good Online, she considers her tattoo to be "Disney-fied" version of the original artist's work.
7. Floral Sleeve Tattoo
Iggy has a floral sleeve tattoo on her right arm that she debuted at the 2016 GQ Men of the Year Awards in Sydney, Australia. She has yet to share what the floral piece means, and it seems to cover up both the Birth of Venus and horse tattoos.
8. Digital Distortion finger tattoo
In March 2018, Iggy interviewed with Billboard, who described her new hand tattoo (which we've yet to see a photo of) as having the word "Digital" on her ring finger and "Distortion" on her middle finger. The tattoo pays homage to her planned sophomore album of the same name, which was scrapped in 2017 and never released.
9. STS finger tattoo
In late 2017 after revealing that Digital Distortion was no longer in the works, Iggy revealed via Twitter that she was releasing a few songs from her newest upcoming album Surviving the Summer. In December of the same year, she shared a photo on Instagram of the letters "STS" on her fingers, and wrote on Twitter that the font of her new album would be the same as her STS tattoo font.
