6 Zodiac Signs Who Are Terrible Listeners, So Don't Even Bother

getty Problems with communication can be deadly for relationships. If you’re a bad listener, make the conversation all about you, or aren’t able to read body language, chances are good that you’re not the best communicator.
But who are the zodiac signs who are bad listeners? Astrology may provide some great insight into the signs who won't even listen to their horoscope, let alone their partner.
What are some of the things that bad listeners do that weaken their skills even more? Some bad listeners seem to feel as if they’re mind readers, and since they already know what the other person is going to say, they make assumptions about what the other person thinks, feels or believes, and makes the encounter much more one-sided.
Other poor listeners don’t hold up their end of the conversation and just zone out. They seem to prefer their fantasy world to what is being said around them. When they try to rejoin the conversation, they’re lost and have to scramble to come up to speed.
But a good listener isn’t judgmental and they’re not so rigid about a topic that they can’t hear opposite opinions. If you are one of the zodiac signs who are bad listeners, know that this can change. You can retrain yourself to be a better listener and, in turn, be a better communicator.
1. AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Aquarius tend to be the kind of people whose brains are racing ahead when you're in a middle of a conversation with them, and if you start talking about a topic that they're not comfortable with, they're going to change the subject before you're ready.
Empathy isn't one of their personality traits, so they may not be keyed into the fact that you really needed to talk about that subject. Aquarius isn't being rude, they just want to steer the conversation to an issue that engages them or a topic that they're interested in.
2. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarians love communication and they get so excited about having one that sometimes they hijack the conversation. You might mention that you just returned from a trip to Croatia and suddenly, Sagittarius is talking about their recent trip.
Sagittarius is so enthusiastic and interesting that you decide to save your story for another day or, at least, another audience. Do Sagittarius tend to be conversational narcissists? Yes, but we love them anyway.
3. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
Here's the problem with Aries' listening habits: they're not just listening to you, they're doing a hundred other things at the same time. They're on the computer, or doing some light housekeeping, or telling their kid to eat their dinner.
It's not that Aries doesn't care what you're saying, they just can't focus on what you're saying. Aries are extreme multitaskers and the problem with that is that their attention gets divided multiple times.
4. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Taurus don't like making mistakes with anything, and that includes conversation. Instead of listening intently, Taurus tend to plan out how they're going to respond to what you're saying.
They might not catch the nuances and subtleties of what you're saying, but their answer will be well thought-out — maybe too thought out. Taurus need to trust themselves, their ability to think on their feet and not worry so much about coming off poorly.
5. CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Capricorns can be bad listeners when they feel that they have to interrupt what you're saying in order to give you a few words of advice. You may not have requested their advice or wanted it, but Capricorn wants to give it to you.
They have lots to do so they may not feel as if they have the time to wait for you to get to the end of a story. Capricorn wants to help, and they truly believe that their wisdom is exactly what you need, even if you'd rather they just support you by listening quietly.
6. PISCES (February 19-March 20)
Of all the signs most likely to drift off into their own private fantasy world during a conversation, it's Pisces. They can't help it as they're very creative and their mind is always generating new ideas and inspirations.
They want to be present during a conversation, but sometimes if the subject doesn't grab their attention, they find themselves lost in thought. If you call them on their bad listening skills, they would be hurt. Try not to take it personally if you're trying to talk to a Pisces and they're a million miles away.
