6 Loud Zodiac Signs Who Have No Problem Expressing Their Opinion

getty When people tell women they’re too loud, it’s their way of trying to hold them back, keep them down, and control them. In the old days, women were instructed to talk softly, if at all. The general feeling was that women, like children, were best when they were seen but not heard.
Telling someone that they’re too loud is like telling them to smile: It may seem innocuous enough, but it’s actually very manipulative and controlling. And when you're one of the loud zodiac signs, it's impossible to stay quiet, no matter what your horoscope tells you about voicing your opinion.
If you’ve got something to say, you should say it loudly and proudly so everyone can hear you. I’m not talking about being inappropriately loud or being way too loud in a public place — that’s obnoxious. But if you are being loud so you can be heard, that’s fine.
If you are expressing yourself in a loud way, keep on doing it, no matter who tries to silence you. It might not be ladylike to speak loudly but if that’s what it takes, good for you. Be loud, be proud, and make your presence known.
1. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
When an Aries takes up a new project or cause, they'll do so with all of their heart and voice. They're confident and enthusiastic which allows them to be loud and proud. They're not afraid to stand up to bullies or speak up for what they believe in.
An Aries individual doesn't care if others want them to lower their voice or speak in softer tones; they're going to say what they want to say in the loudest and clearest voice possible. Aries don't hold back on anything and they're certainly not going to hold back on expressing themselves loudly.
2. LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Leos are leaders, even when they're not trying to be and they need to be heard. They want their message to be clear so there's no misinterpretation. Leos also tend to have great senses of humor and laughs that are loud enough to shake a painting off a wall.
They don't mind if their laugh or voice is too loud and it makes people look at them. They love to be the center of attention, and if being loud is one way to get the spotlight, that's great. No one was ever harmed by the sound of a hearty laugh, and expressing joy loudly feels good to Leos.
3. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarians can't help it if they come across as being loud; they're just enthusiastic about almost everything. They can't contain their exhilaration about trying new things, going to new places, or meeting new people. They also love to make other people laugh, and what's a good way to sell a joke? Make it loud.
Sagittarius love to draw people in and share how they're feeling. They do tend to be very straightforward, so it can seem as if their words are even louder, but they're just trying to be as honest as possible.
4. AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
When you are constantly fighting for a cause and trying to rally people around you, you've got to be loud, and such is the case for Aquarians. As huge humanitarians, Aquarius individuals need to be able to get their message out to the masses. They also can get carried away, and if they think they're not being heard, they will get louder and louder until they know that people are hearing them.
Aquarians can be intense with their fervor, and there are times when they can alienate people with their methods. Aquarians know not everybody is going to get them, but if they're loud, they can't be ignored.
5. LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
Libras can express themselves loudly. If they're excited to see someone, they might shriek with delight, or if a joke hits their funny bone in just the right way, they'll howl with laughter. The bottom line is that Libras have a difficult time suppressing their joy or their anger.
If they are standing up for something they believe in, they can be loud if the situation demands it. They try to stay calm but there are things (like unfairness or injustice) that just set them off. Libras can be very gracious and charming, but don't tell them to keep their voice down if you don't want to piss them off.
6. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
There are times when Geminis are actually very soft-spoken, but when they're in social-mode, they tend to get louder. They need to be heard over the sounds of a party, and being able to be heard is very important to them. They'll adjust their volume as they see fit, but if they're in a situation where they need to pump up their vocal volume, they have no problem doing so.
Geminis are flexible, which is a very good trait to have. They're also very lively, and sometimes they can get carried away by their enthusiasm.
