9 Quick & Easy Drink Recipes For National Margarita Day
Get in my belly!
Who doesn’t love a nice, cold margarita on a warm day? Perhaps a warm day with a margarita made from fresh (or frozen) ingredients enjoyed in the comfort of your own home.
With National Margarita Day rapidly approaching (it’s on February 22nd, you’re welcome), it’s time to start looking for recipes and stocking up the pantry with ingredients to make your favorite margarita and celebrate.
When the weather starts to warm up, we begin to get visions of sunshine, bare legs and arms, sitting poolside with friends and, of course, our favorite ice-cold cocktails. Happy hour, here we come!
Margaritas are fantastic. They pair well with most foods and offer wonderful variety in fruity and/or bitter drinks. I even found a scrumptious looking chocolate version (see number 9 on our list).
Plus, sometimes it’s just nice to relax and commune with close friends over a pitcher of margaritas. We all need to unwind sometime, might as well do it over a shared love of margaritas and the promise of warmer weather.
And, if we’re being honest with ourselves, National Margarita day is a perfect excuse to call up your friends and have a nice night in hanging out (and drinking margaritas).
There isn’t a lot that puts you in the mood for some nice cold margarita’s than the weather rapidly warming up this time of year.
Whether you like your margaritas super sweet and fruity (or creamy and chocolatey — I’m ridiculously pumped about the chocolate margarita, y’all).
If you prefer cocktails that are more on the sour/bitter side; you’re sure to find a great recipe below.
