There’s something so satisfying about striking an item off the list when it’s been accomplished. Many people need the visual aide of a to-do list in order to move quickly through their tasks.
Another tool that helps people get organized is making schedules and having deadlines. It’s fine to say you’ll do something but it’s easy to procrastinate or put things off when there’s nothing to keep you on track.
Deadlines and schedules help to light a fire under us so that we get things done. We need accountability — if we think we’re letting someone down by not doing something, it will motivate us to do it.
It’s important to declutter one’s house and workplace. Physical clutter overloads your senses, causes tremendous stress, and gets in the way of your ability to be creative. You may not be able to find the things you’re looking for or you may feel weighed down by all your possessions. The less clutter you have, the easier it is to get organized and keep organized.

1. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Geminis have all kinds of things going on with them and don't always have time to plan or be organized. They can be scattered, and their thoughts jumbled. A Gemini may put some items in a pile to organize later and then forget all about it.
Geminis tend to procrastinate and then run out of time to finish what they were supposed to complete. Geminis lack consistency and can get easily bored. Being organized or organizing isn't especially interesting to them.
2. PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces are the dreamers of the Zodiac and can get lost in thought. Being organized feels stifling to Pisces' artistic soul. They need to be comfortable in their space and not have to worry about things being out of place.
Their artist's studio may look like a mess, but to them, it's comforting. Pisces would rather sit and contemplate the future than make sure their books were in alphabetical order. Pisces may be disorganized, but they still seem to get by in the world fairly well.
3. AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
With an Aquarius, their workplace is usually organized, but their home and car, not so much. They don't have the desire to spend their precious free time organization their bookshelves.
Aquarius really do have better things to do than organize, so they'd rather pay someone else to do it or have so little possessions that there isn't anything to organize. Aquarians can be somewhat inconsistent, so how organized they are depends on their mood or what they've got coming up.
4. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarius individuals like to have freedom and that means they prefer no itinerary or schedule. If they're forced to be organized — if they have to catch a plan or must condense 3 bags of luggage into two — they can do it. They just don't appreciate feeling restricted or hampered.
They want to go where they want, do what they want, and say what they want. They want to be spontaneous and live in the moment and not feel as if their life is regimented.
5. LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
Libras have moments of disorganization and moments of being extremely organized. While they're full of charm and are very enjoyable to be around, they're not always the most reliable people. They are prone to changing their minds, don't always keep their promises, and often don't know what it is they're supposed to be doing.
They try to keep to schedule but then they forget to mark an appointment or lunch date, and suddenly they're double-booked. Libras don't mean to let people down, but it happens.
6. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
Aries try to be organized and sometimes are successful, but many times they've just got too much stuff going on and the things that need to be organized just get pushed further and further down the list. Aries can be overwhelmed by everything they have happening in their life and just don't want to deal with organizing it.
Schedules are great, but what if something spontaneously comes up? Aries wants to be sure that they're available for whatever should come their way.
