Before And After Pics Of The Jersey Shore Cast Prove A Few Of Them Will Look Very Different In 2018 On Their New Show
The cab is here for a new series!
For the past five years, we've had to attempt to live a "gym, tan and laundry" lifestyle on our own, without any guidances. But now the best guido mentors are back and better than ever.
On Nov. 27, MTV announced a Jersey Shore revival during the premiere of Floribama Shore. It's set to air in 2018 and all of your favorite cast members are returning — except one.
Most of the original Jersey Shore cast will be reuniting for a new series, Jersey Shore Family Vacation. “Pauly D.” DelVecchio, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Jenny “JWOWW” Farley, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Vinny Guadagnino, and Deena Nicole Cortese are all planning on being in Family Vacation.

One name is missing from that list: Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola. She doesn't want to deal with the drama or her ex-boyfriend, Ronnie, who is also on the hit show.
On her podcast, Snooki said the drama from the previous show was just too much for Sammi.
"Honestly, filming the show, Jersey Shore, back then … it was so crazy," Snooki said. "It took a toll on you. It was very emotional. And being that there was a lot of Ron and Sam drama when we did film, it was just really hard on both of them. So I just think she doesn’t want that anymore.“
“But at the same time, we’re just like, it’s gonna be different. We’re all begging her to come back on the show. It’s really up to her,” She continued. “Everyone pray that Sammi comes back because I feel like she might change her mind. So Sam, if you’re listening, come to the show. Like, stop being — stop it. Stop it right now before I spank you, Samantha!”
It’s been a while since the last episode of Jersey Shore, though there were some spin-off shows like The Show with Vinny. So where are the members of the show now?
Paul DelVecchio / Pauly D
Pauly D started his own show, The Pauly D Project in 2012, which lasted one season. Since then he has become a fairly successful DJ. The super tan celebrity reportedly makes over $11 million a year thanks to his career as a DJ as well as his products, which include clothing, tanner, and colognes.
He also has a daughter named Amabella Sophia Markert.
DelVecchio will appear in Jersey Shore Family Vacation, because what would the show be like without him?
Nicole Polizzi / Snooki
Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi started a family with her husband, Jionni LaValle. The couple has two children, Lorenzo Dominic and Giovanna Marie, and a show together titled Nicole & Jionni’s Shore Flip.
Snooks has also performed on Dancing with the Stars and The New Celebrity Apprentice. She’s written five books and her latest, Strong Is the New Sexy: My Kickass Story on Getting My Formula for Fierce, was published in 2015.
Polizzi is getting back with the Jersey Shore cast for the new show.
Michael Sorrentino / The Situation
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has dealt with a lot since Jersey Shore ended.
He kept acting, getting roles in some reality TV shows, including Marriage Boot Camp and his own show, The Sorrentinos.
Aside from his career, Sorrentino struggled with addiction. Sorrentino went to rehab in 2012 and remained sober until he injured himself at the gym in 2014. He got caught up in abusing prescription drugs but is currently sober, according to PEOPLE.
“The Situation” will be back for the new show.
Jennifer Farley / JWoww
After Jersey Shore ended, JWoww kept busy. She did a spin-off show with Snooki called Snooki & JWoww from 2012-2015. She also won the season seven of Worst Cooks in America (which I’m not sure is the best thing to be known for).
Farley has also launched a cosmetics line called JWoww Cosmetics, and has two kids — Meilani Alexandra and Greyson Valor — with her husband, Roger Matthews.
JWoww will be in the new MTV series.
Ronnie Ortiz-Magro
Ronnie boy is in love! We all know how he and Sammi Giancola were on-and-off throughout the show but he says he is ready to settle down with his current girlfriend, Jen.
“She is the first person I finally really fell in love with,” he told Us Weekly. “I want to settle down and have a family; she is that person for me.”
He even said they’ve talked about getting hitched!
“We think about it,” Ortiz-Magro said. “One day I am in Vegas and the next day I am on The Shore again. So yes, we think about it, but right now things are good.”
He’s also been cast in the show Famously Single.
He is set to return for Jersey Shore Family Vacation.
Samantha Giancola / Sammi Sweetheart
Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola launched a clothing line, Sweetheart Styles. She has been a co-host on a podcast called Just Sayin’ since Jersey Shore’s conclusion in 2012 but has kept off the screen.
The former JS cast member has decided to stay off the big screen and isn't returning for Jersey Shore Family Vacation. A source told US Weekly that her reason for opting out was to avoid seeing ex-boyfriend Ronnie Ortiz-Magro. Snooki later confirmed that on her podcast.
“Everyone was invited to come on the show but Sammi was the only one who didn't want to,” a source told Us Weekly. “A big reason for that was because she didn't want to be around Ronnie. She has been enjoying her life off of TV and didn't want to change that.”
Vinny Guadagnino
Vinny has not stopped appearing on TV since the famous series Jersey Shore ended. He has been in The Hard Times of RJ Berger, 90210, The Show with Vinny, and started a show with his beloved mother called Vinny and Ma Eat America on The Cooking Channel.
His book, Control the Crazy, came out and tells all about how he has tried to keep his social anxiety and stress under control.
Maybe we'll see him put those methods to work on Jersey Shore Family Vacation.
Angelina Pivarnick
Pivarnick didn't make it past season one without leaving the show. Although she did come back for a bit, she left for good in season 2.
Now, she is an EMT in New York. Before settling down to save lives, she was seen in Couples Therapy and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling on Spike TV. In 2010 she released a single called “I’m Hot.”
She is not returning for the upcoming MTV series.
Deena Nicole Cortese
Deena, who joined the cast of Jersey Shore in season 3, has appeared in a few other shows and got married!
She, along with other members of JS, was in Couples Therapy and appeared in Snooki & JWoww a couple of times. Cortese also got engaged to beau Christopher Buckner in 2016 and married in October of 2017. Their wedding was basically a Jersey Shore reunion!
Cortese will be a part of the new series.
