Awful New Details About Tom Sizemore, The Actor Accused Of Molesting An 11-Year-Old Girl On A Film Set
The incident allegedly took place in 2003 on a movie set.
Yet another Hollywood actor has been accused of sexual misconduct, harassment, and assault — this time with an 11-year-old girl.
If the name is not familiar, you may be asking yourself, "Who is Tom Sizemore, again?" The actor is famous for starring in blockbusters such as Saving Private Ryan, and Pearl Harbor, was recently accused of molesting an 11-year-old actress while on the set of the movie Born Killers (not Natural Born Killers, in which he also starred). The incident allegedly happened in 2003, and the girl, who is now 26, is coming forward to talk about the abuse and potentially seek legal action against the actor.
According to her — and dozens of cast and crew members who confirmed the incident happened — when she was seating on Sizemore's lap for a family portrait. She was wearing a flannel nightgown when the now 55-year-old actor "either rubbed his finger against her vagina" or "inserted it inside."
Production manager Cassidy Lunnen said" "the girl was so young it was unclear to her and [later] her parents what had actually taken place and if it was intentional or not."
Robyn Adamson, who played Sizemore's wife in the film, was standing near the photographer and recalled the look on the girl's face when it happened.
“At one point her eyes got just huge like she could’ve vomited," Adamson said. "I was watching her. She soon reintegrated and kept going, although she had trouble taking direction. Later, when I was told about what happened, I knew exactly what it was.”
The next day, the girl told her mother what happened and she called casting director Cartine McGregor who then filed a complaint with SAG's legal department and advocated for Sizemore's "immediate dismissal from the project."
“It filtered down to the crew,” says Roi Maufas, a production assistant on the film. “The little girl said what she said and we all thought, ‘That f–king sleazebag.’ There was never any doubt."
"He was this guy who was already known for making inappropriate comments, being drunk, being high. We’re talking about consistent behavior, just being ‘Tom Sizemore’ on set every day. Then this happens. Guys reached for hammers. [Producer James R. Rosenthal, who died in 2011], who was livid himself, had to stop a group of us from going to visit Mr. Sizemore to kick the guy’s ass.”
Producer Michael Manshel removed him from the movie set as soon as the allegations were made but after going through the photos shot during the incident said they were too inconclusive to take action. He told the girl's parents they could file a police report, but they declined because they didn't want to damage their daughter's acting career.
“They did talk to the police but didn’t press charges,” said Manshel. “We also talked to Tom at the time, and told him everything that had been told to us, and he said: ‘I’ve done a lot of awful things, and I’d never do anything with kids.’ We considered whether we had some responsibility to him to not pass judgment on him.”
However, once word got back to his representatives, he was fired by multiple agencies who kept it quiet as to not draw the public's attention.
But Sizemore continued to work in Hollywood, despite the allegations and his trouble with the law involving drugs and domestic abuse. He was arrested for possession of meth in 2007 and pleaded no contest to assaulting his former girlfriend in 2016.
He was also arrested for battery on another woman in 2009 and 2011. Sizemore was convicted of assault and battery on then-girlfriend and Hollywood Madam, Heidi Fleiss, in 2003 and served seven months in jail.
The now adult victim said she's exploring legal action against Sizemore as well as her parents. Sizemore's representative said: "Our position is 'no comment.'"
