For example, you go to a hot new restaurant that has great reviews. When you walk in with your complaining companion, however, the venue may as well have been a fast food chain restaurant.
They'll complain about how the lighting is too low, the acoustics are too loud, the chairs are uncomfortable and the menu is too hard to read. Lets not even get started on the food and drinks.
The weather becomes a vessel of complaining ammunition. If it's too hot, too cold, too humid, too foggy, too sunny. It's all a whole pile of bad when a complainer steps foot outside. Their life is a soap opera or a dramatic play with no intermission.
Every bad thing that happens to them requires a monologue. Boy, some of those complainers sure can win an Oscar. "It's too shiny and tiny and I hate the name Oscar" — said a complainer probably.
Complaining can be a way to vent. We do all need that from time to time. If we keep everything locked up inside there will be a time where all our pent-up frustration will come erupting out.

Complaining can be healthy in the sense of getting your emotions out. It can be a way to talk to your friends or loved ones about what you are upset about in your life. Excessive complaining is where the lines of good and bad get blurred.

CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancers do not have intentions of being complainers. They just have so much going on inside of them at times that it is hard not too. When their emotions become too much they need to get them out.
Otherwise, the results of pent-up frustration could disastrous for them. Being a tad bit insecure does not help that cause either. They use their own complaining as therapy (hey it is cheaper).
However, Cancers are tenacious. Their emotions are strong but so is their willpower. If they want to stop the constant complaining they can. They just need a clear mind to do it.
SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpios do not mean to complain that much. It just happens. Their knack for being brutally honest and their passion is just the perfect recipe for it. Scorpios are determined and when something does not go their way they are upset about it.
They want to be leaders and when things get out of their control they can't help but vent about it. The problem is there are a ton of things in life that are out of our control. The curve balls that life throws can knock us on our ass.
Scorpios do not like that. They want to constantly be on the move and when they have a setback it grinds their gears. Scorpios need to keep in mind that complaining does not give them any control back.
SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarius are a bit of a conundrum. On one hand, they are optimistic and spontaneous. On the other hand, they say the first thing that comes to their mind, and that equals quite a few complaints.
Negativity doesn't cloud them but they do not seem to have a filter at times. If something is wrong they will point it out. Maybe not even because they are upset about it but solely for the fact that they noticed it.
Sagittarius can get caught up and go on rants. When they do they say whatever and worry about the consequences later. Complaining to them is just another way to get all their viewpoints out there.
AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Aquarius is a sign who runs from emotional expression. One of the ways they do that is by complaining. To them, they would rather complain than say what is really going on in their heart.
They also use complaining as a way to get their intellectual viewpoints out. Complaining about how today's government is run is a great opening to their viewpoint on how it should be.
