But anger is a valid emotion too, and sometimes you just want to find a verbal sparring partner and let it all out.
Had a bad day and need a good conflict to clear the air? Did someone insult you and you feel the need to strike back? Maybe you just feel like pushing someone’s buttons? That's when you can look to your horoscope and even general astrology to fine-tune your drama.
Everyone has pet peeves and sore spots. The zodiac signs tell us a lot about general personality traits — not just someone’s strengths and weaknesses, but the everyday annoyances that will really make them see red.
Use this information carefully. Starting an argument isn’t usually a great way to solve problems or keep friends. On the other hand, this is also useful information to know if you’re trying to avoid conflict rather than create it.

ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
It’s pretty easy to start a fight with Aries. There’s a reason this sign is named after the Greek God of War.
Aries is competitive and determined to get their own way. If you want to see their bad side, just tell them that they’re not up to a challenge or that they can’t have what they want. Be careful though — arguing with Aries can turn into a physical fight faster than you think.
TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Taurus really appreciates the finer things in life. They’re proud of their collections and investments.
Don’t bother trying to find something about Taurus’ personality to insult — you’ll get a much better reaction if you imply that their home or belongings are shabby and cheap.
GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Gemini tends to go along with the prevailing opinions in any group, so it’s hard to argue with them because they’ll just take your side.
Call them out on their own game — whatever they’re saying now, they were probably saying the opposite with someone else just last week. It’ll be fun to watch them try to backtrack.
CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancer is naturally passive-aggressive, and two can play at that game. So, Cancer wants to play the martyr? Well, they don’t do enough for you either, do they?
Question how much they really care about you. Tell them how selfish they’re being. Then leave and let them stew in that for awhile.
LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Want to see Leo’s natural exuberance turn sour? Ignore them. Interrupt them and change the subject. Everything Leo does tends to be a performance.
Their ego relies on an appreciative audience, so don’t even look. It’ll drive them nuts.
VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
You don’t really have to say anything to Virgo to make them mad, so rearrange their desk. Put their books out of order. Mess up their spreadsheets. Destroy their perfectly ordered environment and tell them that you’re “helping.”
LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
Libra does not enjoy being angry. They actively work to reduce anger and negativity in any situation.
If you really want to see Libra break down, don’t let the argument end. Tell them they’re being inconsiderate and unfair and find something wrong with every solution they propose.
SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpio’s passions and emotions run deep, and they do like their secrets. You might not know if they’re angry with you until it’s too late.
One sure way to get on Scorpio’s bad side is to make their private lives public. Take one of their secrets and hold it up for the world to see. Scorpio will smile and laugh right along with you, and then you’d better watch your back for the rest of your life.
SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
It’s hard to offend Sagittarius, since they tend to be one of the most easy-going signs of the zodiac. One thing they can’t stand, though, is a liar.
Sagittarius trusts almost everyone at first. If you make them regret that, you can count on Sagittarius giving you the cold shoulder for a very long time.
CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Capricorn takes pride in their rational efficiency and planning skills. Want to take them down a few notches? Tell them that their goals are frivolous, their ideas are silly, and that they could find better ways to use their time.
If they experience a failure, shrug your shoulders and tell them that it’s not a big deal. It is a big deal to Capricorn, and they’ll let you know it.
AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Aquarius is a “big picture” kind of person. If you’re trying to send them over the edge, insist that they focus on small details instead.
Aquarius is independent and not comfortable with emotions, either, so be sure to follow them around constantly asking how they feel about things.
PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Guaranteed, Pisces is already upset about something long before you start in on them.
It’s hard to make Pisces truly angry, though — they’re more likely to feel guilty and cry when confronted than get involved in a shouting match. If you want to see tears of rage, tell them they’re over-reacting.
