How To Make Your Penis Bigger
Or at least, appear bigger.
Penis size and length is a sensitive topic for guys. Many men are self-conscious about the size of their penis.
"There are two features if the penis that can be augmented: the length and girth. Length can really only be augmented surgically. Girth can be augmented both surgically and non-surgically (with injections). All other methods of penile augmentation are temporary (lasting a few hours at best)," explains Dr. Norman Rowe, a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in non-surgical penis enlargements.
So, for men wanting to know how to make your penis bigger, and want it to happen now, there's a lot you can actually do.
1. Get fillers.
"A new frontier is using dermal fillers (typically used to enhance lips or cheeks) to increase the girth of the penis. The most popular filler is Juvederm Voluma which is made of a naturally occurring molecule, HA, found in the skin. Juvederm Voluma from Allergan is an HA gel which is typically injected into face wrinkles to smooth the skin, into cheeks to lift the face and into the lips to add shape and contour. When injected under the skin of the penis shaft, Voluma can add considerable width or girth to the penis in a quick office appointment," says plastic surgeon Dr. David Shafer.
Fillers can also be injected into the tip of the penis, but the skin is not as amenable in this area to adding volume.
"It's important that the filler is mainly adding girth and not length. However, many patients do experience slight lengthening as well from the filler treatment. The patient first has a topical anesthetic ointment placed on the penis to numb the skin. A small injection is then made with an anesthetic medication at the base of the penis. A cannula (blunt needle) is then used to inject the filler circumferentially around the shaft of the penis," advises Dr. Shafer.
2. Add accessories.
"If you wish you had just a few more inches to offer, there are a variety of penis extenders and enlargers to help with just that," says Lovehoney sexpert Jess Wilde. "Lovehoney’s Mega Mighty 3 Extra Inches PenisExtender with Ball Loop is a realistic shape that fits comfortably and ups her pleasure — an added bonus is that it desensitizes you to last longer."
3. Lose weight.
Extra weight can be concealing the size of your penis. Lose weight and your penis will look bigger. You are not alone: 1 in 3 men are carrying too much weight to see their own penis. Losing weight will help because for every 30-50 pounds of excess weight, you will lose an inch of visible penis, and vice versa.
4. Do Kegels.
Men can do Kegel exercises as well. This will enhance the muscles in your penis. But how do Kegels for men, work?
"The pubococcygeus (PC) muscle, which surrounds the prostate gland, is like a valve around the genitals. Orgasm builds from the prostate, so learning to develop these muscles helps strengthen orgasms, and is imperative to becoming multi-orgasmic," explains Antonia Hall, MA., a psychologist, relationship expert and sexpert.
"Inhale and contract the PC muscle to stop the flow of urine. Exhale and start urinating again. Repeat three to six times or until you no longer need to urinate. To add an extra intensity to this exercise (recommended, but not necessary), stand on your toes or balls of your feet, which is like adding a little weight to the exercise."
5. Manscape more often.
Trimming your pubic hair is a great way to make the penis look longer. Trimming your pubic hair is a natural size enhancement, but it also keeps things looking neat and appealing down there as well.
6. Live a healthy lifestyle.
Stuff like smoking, a bad diet, or lack of exercise can restrict blood flow to the penis, which prevents maximum girth. Fix those areas of the life and the erection will be bigger and fuller as well. Meds like Viagra and Cialis also increase blood flow.
7. Consider surgery.
Obviously this is the last resort, because penis surgery is pretty intense, but it's out there. Surgery techniques include adding length by cutting the ligament that holds up the penis. Ouch.
