The Most Hypocritical Thing About You, According To Your Zodiac Sign

weheartit A hypocrite is someone who acts one way but is really another way; they’re deceitful, two-faced, and deceivers.
Now, no one is completely honest all the time, no matter how they may try. There are times when it’s more important to fit in than cause a scene.
Perhaps you’re a bridesmaid and you’re called upon to make a toast for the bride and groom. The problem is, you think that they’re a terrible match and you doubt that the marriage will last a year, but you’re not going to say that in your toast.
Instead, you’re going to tell a funny anecdote about the bride and then wish them well. Yes, you’re being a hypocrite but not out of maliciousness or the need to manipulate; you’re being fake because in that instance it’s a kindness not to make a scene, and it also goes along with the social cues that should be followed at a wedding.
Not every instance of hypocritical behavior is justified; most of the time, it’s not a good way to be. If you constantly give lip service to something you don’t believe in, then how can you ever be trusted?
If you always pretend to be something you’re not, how can people ever really get to know the real you? No one should be an impostor in their own life. You don’t want to be thought of as a poser, a pretender or a phony.
It’s best if you can be as truthful as possible and have your actions match your words. You might think that it’s okay to be a hypocrite if it advances your career and gets you in with the right people, or perhaps it’s okay if you want to ingratiate yourself with your partner’s family so that they’ll think well of you.

You like to think of yourself as being very thoughtful and sensitive regarding other people's feelings, and yet, when you feel the need to tell someone the cold, harsh truth, you don't hold back. Where's that compassion when you're reading someone the riot act?
