This New App Shows You What You'd Look Like OLD (And It's SO REALISTIC)
Never knew looking so old can be so much fun!
The world outside your smartphone might be imploding any day now but have no fear!
A new app called ... appropriately, FaceApp is all the rage and you'll want to try it out.
Here at YourTango, we've been furiously working hard at taking proper selfies in order to test this bad boy out and let me tell you: IT'S FUN AF!
The awesome part is you don't have to take selfies to use it; it will also pull from your camera roll so HOLLA at all those cat pictures you've been storing for just the perfect opportunity.
OK, so what kind of FaceApp review would this be if I didn't actually tell you or show you what it did? Not a very good one, my friend.
Available for both iOs and Android, you can download the free version or drop a cool $3.99 on the full shebang like I did because I'm rolling in singles!
Using artificial intelligence and neural networks (a computer system modeled on the human brain and nervous system), this app will take the photo of your choosing and create a whole new you: LITERALLY!
You can opt for two different smile effects, along with spark (which makes you look like you just came out of a free Sephora make-up tutorial), old person (this was all too real), young person, and female or male (you can choose the opposite sex from which you identify).

Scary, right?
But enough of us regular folk, let's try it out on some celebrities!

Jon Hamm is a total hottie but he actually looks kind of pretty as a woman, too. IS THERE NOTHING THIS MAN CAN'T DO!?

If I had to give a star rating review of FaceApp, it would get 5 freakin' stars!
Not only is this super fun to play around with, but most of the time, it's really accurate.
Word around YourTango is that when the females made their photos look like males, they totally looked like their biological brothers.
And as much as I hate to admit it, my "old" picture looks a lot like my Grandma — so now I know how I'll look in 30 years. *sigh*
So this artificial intelligence stuff is pretty freaky but also downright awesome!
